FANDELIER UP!! My 17 yr old son and I put it together last night. I am so PROUD of him. He was determined to finish it and he did. I taught him how to use the drill and he figured out everything else. I just supervised, lol. Thanks
Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! You have the most informative video out there! I purchased one almost identical but not of the same brand. You wouldn’t believe what they sent for instructions. They didn’t explain the wiring at all. They didn’t even explain what the wire in the down rod was for. There is no remote control information, nothing! You made me so I’ll at ease watching this intuitive video. I am beyond impressed! Keep up the great work. I have wired lighting and fans all of my adult life and had never been at a loss as I had been. Excellent!
Couldn't have done it without you man. You described everything needed to know how to get this tricky instalation in when the directions included did nothing to help. Thank you thank you thank you!!!!!!
I was dreading installing our fandelier. Your video was detailed, filled with helpful tips, and with a really easy going vibe too! Thank you Sir for doing this!
Picked up the same Fandelier & followed your instructions to the letter. Everything worked out on the 1st try. Thank you very much, really👌🏽👌🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
This was EXTREMELY helpful. Fortunately, this wasn't my first ceiling fan install, but I'm a total amateur so was even more frustrated when I saw that the package didn't come with complete instructions. This is easily the most helpful video on the fandelier I've seen. I thought the part about the two white wires on the LED Driver was hilarious because mine was the same way and didn't even say L or N (though fortunately it hooked up correctly so must have been okay in the end). Thank you!!!
I bought two of these and the oem instruction shows NOTHING about the intallation... watching your video really helps especially the electrical aspects of this product. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!!!!!!
Thanks a lot. This is very very helpful, with the help from this it took 5 hours to install figuring out each step. I cant imagaine what it would take to install without this video.
I installed my fandalier today thanks to you. The instructions that came with the fan were horrible. I had some extra bits but your video was so helpful for the electrical part. Thank you for sharing this.
Thank you so much all the way from Montego Bay Jamaica. I bought this online and had a shipping agent ship it to me and man you're right. Instructions are crappy. You did that, period!
Novlett am from montego Bay also got mine installed but the remote does not turn on or off the light so they are always on at the same time....would appreciate your technician number pls. Thanks in advance
Thanks, I am going to put this fan up in the next few days. I really appreciate the instructions. I couldn’t get my fan guy to put it up. Thought it was too much trouble!
Thank you so much for making this video! It was extremely helpful to us as we put up the fan. Not sure what we would have done without your help! Thanks again! Blessings 😊
I appreciate you so much for that GREAT information Bro. I was at a loss. Thx Again. There is no other info out there. You Da Man!!!!! GOD Bless you and your Family. Peace.
Holy cow, that was awesome! You are awesome! Your detailed guidance is invaluable! Your warnings about when it gets tough was great! It helps that you are strong w good arm strength lol. I'll definitely need a handy helper! 👍❤️ Thanks!
Man that knows what he's doing...x-pattern on the screws 🤣😂👍 great video. Hope you like it, I'm putting different model in my kids rooms & can't wait to see what it looks like.
Thanks for this video Mr.RemoteLife! We just bought this fan. I have watched your video 3 times so I can help my husband install. Do you think we should install the crystals (or some of them) before installing the big base? Also, how long do you think the average semi-intelligent person would take to install?
Wanting to install a Fandelier in our bedroom and upon looking for those infamous HOW TO videos couldn't find much. I actually had to watch your video twice before I got a good understanding 👍🏽thanks because having one installed by Lowe's starts at $250 so I'm going to try my hand at installing this but I have a quick question...I noticed that you didn't make mention of using a wall light switch in order to turn the fan or light on or off so my question is this is the wall switch needed in order to turn this particular Fandelier off&on?
Dude Dude Dude Dude Dude!!!!!!! Thank you so much. I was about to throw this damn fan out the window. I have emailed the seller for instructions on how to put these balls on and have gotten no where. So thank you so much to you and your wife. Bless you!
My instructions never said anything about an Antenna cable.., smh I wonder all day wtf is it!!! Lol omg thank you and your wife so so so much! I was bout ready to send it back. Thanks 🙏🏽 again ☺️
Thank you! Your video helped me figure out how to put the antenna receiver in the dang fan lol my instructions sucked. Is there a way to be able to use the wall light switch AND the remote? 🧐 I keep forgetting I need to use the remote and I go to flip the switch
Thanks for watching! From what I have experienced the wall switch will work like this for lighting... off>on=bright white, 2nd off>on=Amber white, 3rd off>on=dim white. There is no auxiliary power for the fan, it has to be controlled with the remote.
We bought this fan and the light work at the beginning and now the light don’t work on it we got a replacement and it still doesn’t work but the fan works do you know what we should do thank you
We just installed this same fan. I see the video was uploaded 8 months ago. Are the lights still working?? Just wondering how we replace the lights. Lol I didn’t realize what kind of lights it had until yesterday. We bought it months ago but just finally got to install it.
Hey, yes the lights still work fine. They are LEDs so the they will last pretty long. The only thing I can see failing from the light perspective would be the controller that magnetically attaches to the fan base.
These instructions were great! I just ran into an unfortunate situation 😅. All the wiring was perfect but the antenna was left sticking out and so when I pushed the casing upwards to hide all the wires, the antenna got caught/cut and it caused a short 🥲.
Great video. 👏🏾 I have a question. I'm looking to purchase one of these fandeliers for my master bedroom, but I have very high vaulted ceilings and I know that these fans come with two short downrods. Is it possible to purchase a longer downrod? Are the wires long enough? Or can they be extended?
Hi, thank you for your video. It help me a lot. My situation is my fandelier is off balance and I can't figure out how to fix it. I am wondering if you have any suggestions?
I want this fan but I’m nervous that it may hang too low over my bed. If you don’t mind are you able to tell me how tall the fan is from the top of the ceiling to bottom of the fixture on the shortest rod?
Thanks for the very helpful video. One question, with the remote setup, did I give up the on/off ability on the wall light switch? The remote works fine but the unit doesn't respond to the wall light switch. Thx!
Nice video Sir, Did your retractable fan come with the multie LED option? Mine has 3 options but, every time the light gets turned off and on the light displays a different color LED. I was curious if you figured out how to lock in one color? Any help will be appreciated. Have a great day, Uriah
Hey thanks for watching. The three color options are their versions of “dimming”. The color changes when you turn the light on by a light switch gives you different colors. Using the remote to turn the light on and off keeps it consistent.
Maybe I installed something wrong? When I flip the wall switch off and back on the led color is different. The same happens when I use the remote to shut the light off and on.
I always use the brightest temp, so that maybe why I’m getting the same color after turning the power on. Also, try to let it stay on or off for about 5 mins or so.
Dimmer issue? Hey - thanks for this video - quick question, we just installed something similar but ours has a dimmer light. Remote buttons for light on/off work and so do fan buttons (all 6 speeds) but the dimmer buttons do not work. We only have the one driver that is a magnet snd sticks to bottom of fan near LED lights. No additional receiver like you had. Just black/white/ground directs - then driver has blue and white (colored appropriately) .... any thoughts?! We have: NOXARTE Ceiling Fan with Lights LED Dimmable Remote Control Retractable Blades Fandelier for Bedroom Living Room 36 Inch
Problem solved! They don’t say when to hit Set Up but apparently it’s before you even hit on. We shut off at breaker and restarted .... hit Set Up for 5 seconds and it was good to go. 🤦🏼♀️
Do you advise to attach the crystals before you hang the last piece. Then the crystals are already attached. Less strain on your arms and neck. Thank you.
How did you get wood on both sides of the junction box to ensure it was mounted into wood? Junction boxes typically are only on one joist with free space on the other side.
good job Bro… appreciate your expertise…nice to hear instructions in a way that we Americans can understand… i was trying to figure out who you remind me of & it hit me like a bolt of lightening: Alvin Slaughter!
I really appreciate your video! I got mine up and bothered the light and fan turn on and off with the wall switch, both the brightest and fastest speed, but I cannot get the remote to operate anything. I cut the red wire which I had previously attached and now I just have a fast fan without light. Any thoughts on how I may have incorrectly wired this? I’m pretty sure I have a working remote, as the green lights work when buttons are pressed, although I’m not hearing any beeps.
Hey thanks for watching, if you are not getting beeps the remote is not transmitting to the fan. You will need to go through the pairing process to get different settings unfortunately. Let me search for the instructions on the pairing process. They are somewhere in the comments below.
Hey thanks for watching! I talked about it in the video. If your red cable is to separate the light and fan function, this fan does not support it. Just cap it off with a wire cap and tuck it in the electrical box. The light and fan controls only by remote.
FANDELIER UP!! My 17 yr old son and I put it together last night. I am so PROUD of him. He was determined to finish it and he did. I taught him how to use the drill and he figured out everything else. I just supervised, lol. Thanks

I just received my fandolier, and the instructions are horrendous! thank you for this video! Love it!

Thanks for watching!!
This video link should be included in the instructions!

Watched a few other videos and your install makes the most sense of all of them.

Thanks for the very helpful video. One question, with the remote setup, did I give up the on/off ability on the wall light switch? The remote works fine but the unit doesn't respond to the wall light switch. Thx!
Unfortunately the fan only fully functions from the remote. The wall switch is essentially a kill switch.

Awesome, glad you figured it out!
Thank you.. you make it look easy.. but my light does does not go all the way off.
Thanks for watching sorry to hear about your life. I would send that back, sounds defective.
thanks for the vid bro. saved my butt
Do you advise to attach the crystals before you hang the last piece. Then the crystals are already attached. Less strain on your arms and neck. Thank you.
It depends on your arm strength and how many hands you have helping to hold it in place. The crystals will make the ring twice as awkward to hold.
How did you get wood on both sides of the junction box to ensure it was mounted into wood? Junction boxes typically are only on one joist with free space on the other side.
Add it in the attic above the fan.
How is the air flow? Is it strong enough to install in a eating area? Does it give bright lighting?
It’s strong enough to dry out your eyes lol. The LEDs are bright with different color temperatures, this is the “dimming” function.
Thank so much this video really help... great job🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

Question 🙋🏻♀️ How do you reverse the blades for winter ? I can’t find my manual book anywhere. Please help!
These do not reverse, the blades hid and by design they can only go in one direction.
What if you don't have a ceiling fan there prior to installation? Do we need to install the new fan where the old one used to be?
Thank you so much .🙏🏾
Did you attach the bracket to the joist? My box is plastic not metal so I’m scared to install the fan.
Yes, find the stud your plastic box is connected to. The bracket is probably larger than the plastic box.
@@mrremotelife thank you 😊
The black thingy you called a controller is actually a receiver

Hi, I have the same fandelier but it runs hard. It's very noisy. Did your fandelier seem have or need a brace inside the ceiling?
Did you previously have a fan up before installing your fandelier? You definitely need a ceiling fan box or connected to a stud.
