Through many sermons at churches I have attended, I very seldom found the messages to be as interesting and easy to relate to as listening to this podcast. God has blessed these men with a talent for communication and He has blessed me for stumbling upon this channel.

Where's the Bible in that I want to hear you talk about the Bible because I'm a Christian from Arkansas who cares much time your chickens or what not I'm not watching the show no more and are your podcast or anything else because I think you he ain't going to talk about the Bible that's what I got on here for to listen that you talk about the Bible because I don't want to hear about what you done down the road I wanted to have Christian fellowship with you and they know Christian nothing that I see I don't care about your chickens

Jase, I could not agree with you more about cutting wood. When I lived in Virginia, I would cut and split by hand about 15-18 truckloads of wood a year. It would be split between my house, my Dads and inlaws. I loved it. I could just zone out, think about life, look at the best way to split the next piece, etc. Now that I live in Alaska, I don't have nearly the need to split , since my Dad is gone, and my inlaws are 5,000 miles away. I do miss it.
Be careful about zoning out while using sharp stuff. I zoned out using a power saw last December, and it almost split my head.

I have asked what is faith, knew the answer was in Hebrews 11 but, as mentioned in the podcast, thought you just did then expected everything to turn out OK by faith. Yet I decided to delve deep into Hebrews 11 . Here is my attempt
to solidify in my mind to what faith is. I looked individually at each person mentioned by Paul and their walk of faith. I concluded the following:
We must have faith in Him, His Power, and His Love. Don’t be mistaken, our Faith is sealed by His Faithfulness. His Faithfulness desires our faithfulness. Paul describes Faith in this chapter, the Webster 1828 dictionary describes Faith as, “Belief; the assent of the mind to the truth of what is declared by another, resting on his authority and veracity, without other evidence; the judgment that what another states or testifies is the truth.”
In this chapter, we walk through the demonstration of Faith found in the Old Testament. These writings to the Hebrews would have been very familiar to this audience. Each of them were faithful to God not because they gratefully received God’s promises nor in full obedient to what was promised, but because of God’s merciful grace. Don’t get me wrong each of them stepped into the unknown with courage and belief in God’s faithfulness.
God wants each of us to be faithful in Him (which is why I believe God himself says He is a jealous God), not in perfection but in recognition of our shortcomings knowing that “without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.” (Hebrews 11:6).
Phil, you are still young! I was a caretaker for a lady who was 99 years old. She just passed away last week. You've got some good years left in you yet!
Thank you so much for this Bible study. I hope and pray I can sit around someday and do this with my kids.

3. I left Herbert Armstrong’s legalistic World Wide Church of God 25 years ago. I briefly attended a nearby Baptist Church but I didn’t get feel a deep well of the spirit at that particular one then. My life has been a mess that I could write pages about. The big one is getting Lyme disease in the early 1980’s, living with the symptoms for 30 years until it was finally diagnosed in 2013. I’m trying to simplify my life as in get rid of stuff and projects.
I love the Unashamed Podcast! We were so happy to get to meet you, Jep and Murry at Bass Pro Shops last Saturday! I was the one wearing your Faith Over Fear shirt and wanted to tell you that my daughter and I were recently baptized and the Lord has changed our lives in so many ways! I quit drinking, our family now walks with the Lord and I attend Bible Study with a great group of men weekly! It’s so amazing you all share God’s Word through the podcast and use your platforms to share His Word even further! But, there wasn’t enough time to share everything in the meet n greet!

I listened to your podcast all the time. I laugh out loud frequently! So much respect for your family. I came here to suggest to Jase that he buys or rents a wood splitter! My husband (& I) love chopping with an axe, but it’s rough on your 50+ year old body😉.
I find comfort and the fact that there are other Christians when I am being persecuted for my beliefs I can't grasp what Noah dealt with

the bible said the ark rested on the mountains of ararat, this is exactly where noah's ark was found. after the flood, they settled in a huge open field surrounded by hills to protect them from the elements & a perfect spot for the animals to graze on.
today this town is called Sagliksuyu (the place of eight) in eastern turkey. the ruins of noah's house is there, his wife's 18ft long sarcophagus was found near the house ruins. also a 12ft high altar stone is still there. noah & his family were giants. his wife's pinky bone (the last 3 joints, Not including the hand bone) that was found near her grave was a foot long.
there's giant anchor stones scattered in turkey's eastern regions, about 200 miles from the nearest ocean. these anchor stones were the stabilizers to keep noah's boat steady during the massive flood. u can see & touch these things today if u have the resources& means to do so, it's still all there.

How I wish I had had a Dad who was a believer when I was growing up. He was a good man who worked very hard to support our family. We started out very poor. We lived in a place called vet village and ate government cheese and canned mystery meat that my Mother would talk about how she tried to make it taste good. Lord bless her she went home to be with The Lord two weeks ago. Please pray for me and my family. There's so much going on it's unbelievable. I just have to give it to Jesus because there's nothing I can do to fix it. Many of my children and grandchildren need Jesus. My entire family seems to have blown up in negative ways that I couldn't have imagined. Special prayers for my 12 year old granddaughter who has been abused for two years without any of us knowing and is in need of healing in every way. Thanks y'all and God bless you all.

That was a good podcast, but the last 10 minutes or so is profound. Faith is a verb, just like love is a verb. Jesus expressed that love & led us to that faith .. perfectly ..
But the people listed in the "Faith Hall of Fame" were human & they couldn't exhibit perfect faith, we read the stories in the Old Testament. Now realize that God called it Faith nonetheless.
Sometimes (in my lifetime) my faith has wavered. Yet I couldn't deny the Holy Spirit has moved in me & in my life. God knows our weaknesses.
" Yet he, being compassionate, atoned for their iniquity and did not destroy them; he restrained his anger often and did not stir up all his wrath. He remembered that they were but flesh, a wind that passes and comes not again."
Psalm 78:38-39 ESV
So trust in God, & just keep doing what you know God wants you to do. That alone is evidence of your own faith.

Because IN THE BEGINNING was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. Jesus wants to give you a whole new life that's just as though you started over-again. Today is the day of salvation for that. Those that believe this...have received and will enter into the Kingdom of Heaven and those that rejected it, have rejected their own salvation, their own interest into the Kingdom of Heaven and destined their ownself for Hell...death-in-the-grave.
Yes, you see, it is a matter of your CHOICE, God's not gunna WEIGH your "good" deeds and your "bad" deeds. He's gunna ask you one question: "What did you do with my Son Jesus Christ?"
For Priest Jesus cried out:
"COME UNTO ME!!! all you who are weary and heavy laden and I will give you rest. Learn of Me for I am meek and I am lowly and I associate with men and women of low estate."
Jesus wants to fellowship with you. Jesus wants to pick you up out of wherever you are in life and LIFT YOU UP! LIFT YOU UP TO THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN!

There is nothing new under the sun.
You are not perfect, I am not perfect. Jesus is. We can't go to heaven through our own "good" because God's standard of good is incomparable to ours. That being said, we all deserve hell but, God sent His Son Jesus Christ to die on the cross for us to be forgiven. We are saved by his grace through our faith. All we need to do is receive Him. Receiving Jesus is denying yourself, acknowledging that you are a sinner and deserve judgement, but it is also acknowledging that you will not get that judgement because you believe in Jesus, rather than yourself.

God not only determined the way of salvation before creation, He also gifted mankind even with the very faith it is mandated by God to receive the grace He was giving in Christ crucified, died, and resurrected, ascended as our High Priest and Advocate with the Father❣️Hallelujah❣️

Phil, love ya, but you're confused, or at least what you said is very confusing (around 23:24): "only one person, God himself, God said 'I'm the one who is going to bleed for you, with t/his sacrifice of my son...'"
Allow me to suggest that God doesn't have blood. The human Son of God, Jesus the Christ, is the one who died. See for instance Acts 2:22-36, 1 Timothy 2:4-5.

hello so there's going to be no punctuation because my phone is stuck on Google speech and I have tried to get it off this but I can't so I'm speaking my comment out allowed sitting in my yard in California I can see an apricot tree peach trees and a nectarine grafted onto a peach tree I can see two plum trees and if I stood up and look to the right they would even be more if I stood up and looked to my left I'd see pomegranate I'd see lime and there's also persimmon oh and there's grapevines on my fence I'm not a yuppie but we naturally eat organic because if we don't have what we need or want somebody we know family or friends is going to have it pomegranate mandarins tangerines navel oranges Meyer lemons you name it We are naturally organic does it mean we're guppy
