People who are insecure about their own proclivities tend to go around pointing fingers baselessly at others in a facile attempt to shift suspicion away from themselves. It doesn't actually fool anyone, although other finger pointers will agree with them seeking the safety of a finger pointing mob.

The fact that it's the mind of a 26 year old makes every interaction with the other kids super duper weird. Especially the little girls.
