Ren took us back to 90s early 2000s with this one. Loved it!
Total homage to the Beastie Boys. Even the song title is a tip of the hat to the Beastie Boys hit "So What'cha Want".
Ren is a musical sponge. He takes in everything and spits out stuff like this.
“Out the blue / like a shark attack” might also be a reference to the movie “Jaws” (1975) because they are wearing an outfit referencing another old film; “Ghostbusters” (1984).
He saws "I got you in my JAWS, how are you gonna react"... so yes it was the whole jaws movie theme.
When you do Wicked Ways & Uninvited from his new album, there are lyric videos that dropped for those two.

Fantastic reaction,you have to do the tales of Jenny and screech make sure you do the full version trilogy Jenny screech and finally violet's tale otherwise it won't make sense, they are all together in one video about 13 mins long and love music 1,2,3,4 they are super fun look forward to the next ✌️

I think you hit the nail on the head when you said people had to work harder in the passed that’s why Ren is so special now because he puts in the hard yards to make everything perfect in his songs.

This one obviously wasn't a one take but Ren manages to capture most of his vids in one take but he plans them out to the finest details and more than often they can do it dozens of times before they capture the one they stick with and put out
