As a part Scandinavian now living in Australia, who's always been extremely fond of France, specifically Brittany & Normandy, I have to say, WOW!!!
This documentary really highlights the true beauty of all that is Brittany.
This documentary depicts so much of Northern France's historic culture & I so love that the French still hold true & strong to their amazing ancestral ties, because if it were ever lost forever, how truly sad that would be.
I won't lie. I'm ongoingly curious, intrigued, fascinated & I absolutely love & admire, the beauty of France, it's beautiful & wonderful peoples, it's truly incredible history, culture, superb cuisine & beverages (that IMPO, are still one of the world's leading & very best), the fabulous scenery abound, insanely jaw dropping & gorgeous historical architecture abound, the stunning arts, the wonderful & beautiful regional music, the stunning traditional costumes in Brittany & Normandy (the traditional dress & the incredible, intricate lace work, is so stunning & insanely striking to witness), the sense of beautiful French community, my gosh, I could go on & on!
This is a beautiful documentary, paying true homage to Brittany, a truly wonderful precious gem in Northern France.
To all of my French brothers & sisters across the sea, always remain very proud of your roots & always maintain/keep your most beautiful cultures alive & well, for yourselves first & foremost & for all else to bear witness to, so they can learn much more about & so they can enjoy & come to better appreciate.
To those in Brittany, please keep your stunning culture alive & well & do keep dressing up for all special occasions, as you all look truly spectacular, very beautiful & very proud, whilst wearing your finest traditional garments.
I truly admire the cultures of France & I am so in awe of Brittany & all it encompasses & showcases.
Tusen takk for sharing & I hope we'll get to see more of Brittany, Northern France & France in general, because you simply cannot go wrong with France. It's a truly special, magical, very intriguing & very interesting land.

My ancestors came from Rennes as well as Saint Jacques de La Lande and Saint Caradec as well as Saint Michel - Chef Chef. One side of the family went to Quebec and the other New Brunswick and Nova Scotia. I would love to come visit one day. Such a gorgeous area!!

IMPO, I think the French everywhere are very friendly, polite & hospitable.
IMPO, I think It's the fake media & many who've never even visited France or are simply focused on hatred & jealousy, who utter such negative words regarding the French people.
They're just people & they're neither worse nor better than anyone else & even though many may disagree, they don't think they're better, but for some strange reason, many seem to think this is somehow true. It's utterly ridiculous!

I don't understand why they did not put in WRITING the names of the towns on the video itself. How an english speaker (just for example)is supposed to understand or know which town is shown in the movie?? I understand that the index is shown in the video description but it doesn't really help.

yes do not take it like that, Finistere (it s the official name of the western part of Brittany) derives from the Latin finis terrae, meaning "end of the earth" - but for Bretons it was the case - the end of the ground before ocean - of couse it s not the most western part of Europe - Iceland could be in the list :D (or even Greenland ) and so on.
