Great video and have so many questions!! We will be on Bonaire in Sept via cruise ship, 8 am until 10 pm. We have a two hour snorkeling excursion in the morning and looking at renting a car for the rest of the day. It seems that there are no really sandy beaches on Bonaire based on what I've read. Did you find that the case? Looks fairly easy to drive around? We've been to Aruba a couple of times, so I'm guessing it's much like that.
Anything in particular that you'd recommend, we'll have many hours to check things out. Thanks!!!
Can you tell me about the google fi you used?
There is an AVIS truck and car rental place inside Divi Flamingo Bonaire two minutes from cruise port opens at 9AM.
Yes, good recommendation, but our cruise got in at 6am and left by noon 🤪 so we decided to go right to the airport to get a rental place that was open

We did an 11 day cruise in late February/early March :) …still editing

Tell me about Google Fi. Is that something you can use with your existing phone?
Yea, as long as you have an unlocked phone (didn’t buy the phone through a specific phone company like Verizon, T-Mobile, sprint, etc)
We got our phones refurbished on Amazon 👍
Do you have to stay on the ship till a certain time?
Just until the doors open once docked.
We were in port and the doors were set to open at 6am, we got off at 6:10am and still the first ones :)

I think there was an excursion through the cruise ship, but it was full by the time we went to book our stuff about one month out.
The island is very sparsely populated. I'm surprised.
Yeah, it’s not very built up - it was fun to explore :)
$5K? How the flip is that legal?
It’s just a hold in case anything happens to the car - but if any damage did happen to the car, our credit card would cover it (best overall travel card linked in description)
