Ever since this Verna was launched, it has ticked almost all my boxes. Now this verdict (Driver's car) of yours makes it irresistible. However, I have one concern - Ground clearance. At 165 mm, it is the same as before and same as the hatchback we currently have and we have scraped the bottom few times which has almost completely put me towards getting an SUV the next time. What is your take on the ground clearance issue for the Verna?
@@Vishnu-BWe have had the Verna for a while now. And honestly we haven’t struggled with its clerance. When it is fully loaded and you encounter an oddly tall speed breaker, maybe it might scrape. But that’s a rare instance. It cannot be the lead purchase parameter.
People considering buying this please dont get swayed by online salty 15yr olds or fanboys in comment section. I bought Turbo MT sx(O) Abyss Black and everywhere I went with the car its an attention magnet. Be ready for head turns, smiles and 👌 reactions from strangers(this is from experience). Don't need to explain further. Mr. Vikrant has done a commendable job and you'll get a pretty good idea of the driving dynamics etc.
Like many others, I was initially very skeptical about the car when I saw the pictures and video clips. However, my visit to the showroom completely changed my perspective. The car is impressively long and looks fantastic in person. My friend was equally impressed and decided to purchase one. Believe me, once you see and drive the car, you will undoubtedly change your mind. It is equipped with all the features and comforts that cater to both individual drivers and families. I have decided not to spend my hard-earned money on fuel-guzzling SUVs. Instead, I will invest in the turbo variant with ventilated seats and a Bose stereo system. This could be your little 'Highway Star.' 🚗😃
Many people in our country, ignore the fact that sedans offer better driving dynamics, performance and above all ride comfort over suvs and crossovers...high riders 😊😊
Mind blowing videography! Was a pleasure watching it from start to end. The video reinforces my pride of owning a 1.5 Turbo manual. I'm a subscriber here onwards!

@@vikrantsingh6916 1.10 12.21, 16.57 - First three glimpses of Sports mode was very tough to find out , mostly the shots were in city mode, I am sure you drove it in sports mode when throwing the cars in corners, that's the best way to test the suspension in corners and also its only after 17.10 the shots were clearly on sports mode. One thing I would like to ask is while doing the corners, please emphasize on the body roll and how are the seats holding up.
The production values has really upped with this video, please bring the content in 4K as well. it makes a lot of difference, many people now have 4K TVs
This review was phenomenal! I watched it from start to finish without getting distracted. This is exactly the type of review that we're looking for. Here is one more subscriber :)
The same 1.5 Turbo should be made into N-Line since people who don't need power can go with the naturally aspirated one... They need to give 4 discs even in manual, stiffen the suspension and work on the steering a little more and it would be a perfect driver's car to compete properly with Slavia and Virtus 1.5 in terms of driving dynamics
I was thrilled watching this video! It's just two days until my Verna Turbo arrives, and this video has only heightened my excitement about my purchase. Additionally, I'm considering upgrading the tyres to Michelin Pilot Sport for better handling and braking. Do you think it's a worthwhile change?
Great review, could you please tell me if compared with Virtus/Slavia how good it is, is Virtus/Slavia ahead of Verna? I am talking only from behind the wheels perspective and not features and all. Thanks.
Overall pretty nice review, covering most aspects of the the new Verna. But in this day and age I doubt if there will be many takers for the manual, especially in this segment. Would've been great if you had concentrated only on the DCT automatic. Keep up the good work 👍
hope you got a verna for all that crap you spout. I drive a fast (read turbo sedan) Hyundai and these Koreans give you jitters along with a speed-loving engine in a car that has been compromised at it's inception.
@vikrantsingh6916 : Sir you nailed the video ! Your expressive explanation pulled me into the video …. Thank you very much sir ! Note: your vocabulary is great ! Really great ! 👍🤝🤝

Really enjoyed driving the Verna manual. I honestly wasn’t expecting a Hyundai to drive this well! Watch and let us know if you liked what you saw…

This car is no brainier at 21 lacs on road. A well balanced car for driver pleasure and a family car. Great ride
A well balanced and fun to drive car for sure.
Agreed. Balanced is the key word. And looks gorgeous in white in my view. Picked up the white DCT SXO a few days ago !
Best in the segment 👏🏽👏🏽

Vikrant killing it once again. This is the best overall package south of 35 lakhs given that the Octavia no longer exists in the market.
Thank you! :-)
