having carp fished since the early 90s i really dont see the point of any company entering the market now for a new set of alarms especially when youve done nothing to create a pleasing aesthetic, the aesthetics are the only thing that sells alarms, 99% of alarms do the same thing anyway so why you chose to make them look like a childs half bitten mars bar.
you get all the iconic best alarms from the last 30yrs and you can name them just by the box shape, optonics, nevilles, fox microns, delkims, gardenr tlb,

They look no nastier than any other alarm. Fox alarms look tacky compared to older versions as do delks. I think you’ll find it’s called saving money. Not sure how fox etc sell as such a high price point. As you just stated they all make a beep sound and as long as they do that with good sensitivity settings why would you pay £550 plus for alarms. I wouldn’t do it. I’d spend the extra money on booking another trip. Just my opinion 👍🏻
