I lived in Faisalabad from 1963 to1985 at university of Agriculture campus. My father made the PC-1 of new campus and got appreciation from President of Pakistan Muhammed Ayoub Khan. Nice to see the development in the City. Living in USA for the last 30 years. I still miss Lyallpur and hope to visit some time.

I have been watching shows on TH-cam about Pakistan and one thing struck me: Pakistanis' hospitality is legendary! From small villages like Hunza and Neelum Valleys to the streets of their giant metropolitan areas like Islamabad, Karachi, Lahore, Faislabad, Peshawar, Rawalpindi, etc., ordinary people are just too glad to show to tourists and guests their culture without reservations. Ordinary street vendors would give away the food they're selling for free. It's unreal and tourists can't believe it! This gesture of generosity is repeated from one food stall to another, from one small village to their giant cities. It's a never-ending display of street-level generosity. You, people of Pakistan are endowed with a big heart and with a giving culture like no other and much of the world doesn't know it. Hope to visit Pakistan one day and experience your out-of-this-world topnotch hospitality! Much love from Vancouver.
Being a white Scottish woman I totally agree with you. I had the pleasure of being in Pakistan some years ago and the hospitality and kindness from complete strangers just blew me away. I visited Karachi, Muree, Islamabad Lahore, Faisalabad and Multan. Pakistan is a country steeped in history with natural scenic beauty. But for me, it was the people. No where on earth would you be welcomed so warmly as in Pakistan. 🇵🇰🇵🇰🇵🇰🇵🇰

Abe xutiye. Pakistan has lower population density than India. India has much much more vehicular traffic than Pakistan. Lower number of vehicles are the reason for smooth traffic flow. Even tier 4 cities of India like Bareilly have better and bigger infrastructure than Faisalabad. Tu Indian hi hai ya phir Indian naam wala Pakistani? 😂😂

I just wish there were more trees and grass planted in Faisalabad and more technological advancements. Everything looks exactly the same as it did when I was a child and seeing how literally every other country in the world is advancing, I feel kind of sad that nobody actually cares about the future of this city and don't care about improving it.
