I really like the map, very good having 2 VIPs at once. That said, I wish it was a little bigger, or maybe one more objectjve.
Yeah I feel you, I the middle objective with the bombs feels good and bad. Good because there are a lot of bombs to place at a lot of different areas and bad because you get no time added between that and the statue, making it impossible to win if your team doesn't understand. Which I found was the case. Took me 3 hours to get this game lol
Less time getting hit in the back by teammates the better

@@Nuggz1 Definitely, and I think the middle could have been broken up into two smaller objectives for a plus 30 seconds or minute. Would be less confusing

My region experiencing DDOS attacks so half the time the new map is unplayable. Finally got to play as Argon II on stream but Marlic kept running away! 🤣
I'm sorry to hear that man. Wish those losers would get bored of ruining games at some point.
The Argon is tough because it's all on your team to push. And as argon you need to be clearing out as many enemies as possible so your team can snowball them. That was my first game with Argon and luckily the guy at least came out to fight me a few times.

Hell Yeeeas this whole update is like ą chef kiss for engineers, both on attack and defense side. I like the new weapon a lot, it's like a soft sounding maul, but doesn't feel like shite. I would love if they would add an optional vote for a only VIP duel for the last stage, it would be cinemaric like in the movie the King. The map is gorgeous.🎉
I also really want a VIP duel with no interruptions, let the final battle be a test of skill
This is an amazing commentary, I’m so glad that they changed the background. Map is super nice, love the sponser, and even though the godendag thing isn’t my play style, it’s a good weapon, and very balanced in my opinion.
I've been thinking and imma start calling it the medium mace lol. Wish it was just a little bit faster, but maybe then it would be broken.

that guy at 11:11 couldnt come to revive you cause he was stuck on the invisible barrier that they put there. no one can get come back once theyve passed that point only continue to go forward off of that ledge
I was crawling to him after 3 guys already walked straight passed me. I thought, if I can make it to this ledge than this guy who has been staring at me for 20 seconds will surely pick me up 😅
Goedendag special doesn't one-shot horses but it reduces them to like half health while also unhorsing the rider, thought i think this only works if you hit them from the front.
Ahh makes sense, every time I hit it the horses must have been low already

You spawn way too far away when attacking the statue in my opinion
Yeah that is true, reminds me of the portcullis on montcrux. Once you have the bombs there it's a really quick timer but if you can't clear them out it's really easy to lose.

I think the spawns on askandir when defending the first objective are way too far back

"its probably because my team is really bad" no its because the set up has it where the defenders respawn very close to the statue and the attackers spawn further away. making you more prone to be swarmed. not only that the fuse is long and the objective is treated as part of the breaching the city objective so there is no added bonus time when reaching this objective. you can have a really good team where you have like 100 more kills than the enemy team and chances of progressing are still low. this map tends to favor the defenders way too much where the defenders have a much higher success rate than the attackers
I only like playing this map with people in my party so I know I have atleast a few OP players on the attack
@@Nuggz1 that will help indeed. but the devil really need to rework the map a bit to make it more fair. from my own experience, and from what a lot of people also say, 9 tines out of 10, the Mason's win. either at the courtyard (most common) or the fights between the kings (Malrics got the high ground Kenobi style)
Are both kings knights and do they use longswords?
Malric uses a buffed greatsword. Argon a buffed longsword. Argon is more powerful and faster but Malric gets a huge positioning advantage and can just hide up top.
I'm sad for agatha, i feel like the maps are almost never in their favor :(
Masons are the dominate power lorewise. Using ruthless tactics. Agatha is supposed to be on an uphill battle and that's why I believe they will win

If Argon is not aggressive and does not attack I think it is not possible to win, defending is enough for Malric. you did great at the end
Yeah their Malric made a fatal error when he pushed those stairs. If he stayed on his perch he could have taken it with that short time.
I won as an agressive Malric yesterday, Argon player was hiding like a coward and we won with the timer
The new geoduck weapon is sick af. The pierce does srs dmg on vanguard and archers and the blunt is sick af too. The special is a nice fake out
Also the 1/4 staff on the footman just feels right too
Also the only gripe I have with the map is the statue bombing is confusing AF and it’s hard to archer Malric when Agatha
I'm so glad they put it on there, haven't tried it yet
The statue needs more time, it's very difficult to do all of that in 10 minutes but maybe that's just day one issues.
i wanna be honest i spent my last 400 hours playin heavy mace which is unplayable now and the map i dont like tbh too really demotivationg for me but im glad a lot of ppl enjoy the new update
Didn't they just increase wind up time a little bit? I didn't notice a huge difference, maybe just a little bit of a worse accell but the heavy mace needed a little bit of a nerf to be fair

The update and map is really good. However the last objecif feels a little disappointing. And also i feel like the godendag is a lot better than the other engineer weapons wich makes the other weapons more useless.
The other engee weapons do have speed over the Gdawg but that damage is off the chart

A lot of new players came back, never really a good thing since they mash at everything. Have to heal often since half the dmg I take comes from them

Usually am, I get frustrated with bad teammates sometimes and that's why I rarely play in public servers. Also was going on hour 3 of trying to get a game that didn't get stopped at the statue

Have yet to see the attackers win on this map in 10 games, needs to be fixed, whichever vip has lower health should lose. Rn mason can be one shot and Agatha has full health but if you don’t kill the mason vip you lose by default
It's very tough, your argon needs to both defend himself and deal serious damage to Malric, while Malric can just run away. I wish it was just a straight 1v1 for the win, may the better man win

Bad teammates are so frustrating man. When I was downed like 3 teammates looked at me and walked away, no enemies in sight.
I've played about 20/25 matches so far. I've won on Agatha ONCE. There's no way they play tested this shit 😂
It could be that some people are just bad at VIP. I've won everytime I've gotten the either argon or malric so far.
