Like he said, if you replace the name ISU with a blue blood, this team wouldn’t even be questioned for top 10. Just shows the bias. Top 4 scorers and an elite defense that crushed Houston mind you. But sure, keep doubting. We thrive off that
Dishon Jackson is a beast, arguably we lost our front line & got better. If this team stays healthy you will see one of the best teams in NCAA tournament. PS, if this was any blue blood, you guys would have them top 3, but I will take your underwhelming & bias rank.
Plus adding the other big from Seattle and 7 foot JT Rock is going to be playing this year, all three arguably more athletic than Rob Jones or Hasan ward. I can not WAIT to see how this team plays together with the experience and ball shooting and control guys.
Sorry guys, that's incorrect that TJ Otzelberger "wasn't a good fit" in his earlier time at ISU. He did well enough to advance his career. As for "not being a celebrated hire," you've got that wrong too. Cyclone fans KNEW what we were getting.
I disagree. Big cyclone fan here and neither me nor my close friends were sure about the hire. Didn't hate it but TJ hadn't proven much as a head coach yet. I personally wanted a more experienced hire but have certainly eaten a lot of crow the past 3 years
@@alecmorris3126 OK, that's fair. Not everyone is going to agree. I also vividly remember the Wayne Morgan hire. KCCI went to Gary Thompson at the live event and asked him what advice he gave the Athletic Department. When he deadpanned "no one asked me" and walked away from the interview, it didn't give me warm fuzzies.
Regress because we lost Jones, King, and Ward? Lmao. Love those guys but cmon. Sure 6 may be high Tj has been doing more with less the whole time. Now that the talent is increasing, look out.
Thank you Parrish for correcting Norlander’s blue blood bias. Any other Top 10 team returns Top 4 scorers and people will go nutty.
Stephanie Soares got picked 4th in the WNBA draft in 2023
Good pod guys… yall crack me up tho 😂😂

TJ will be our coach until the Chicago Bulls come calling. The Bulls seem to love to take our coaches.
Good stuff guys!
