Ho avuto la fortuna di fare proprio questa bellissima produzione a Bologna, durante la quale conobbi Pertusi che (tra due giorni) andrò a vedere a Modena nel ruolo di Mosè 🥰
Bellissima rappresentazione, sicuramente tra i migliori cast mai messi assieme per Mosè. Accardo IMHO è bravissimo e come in altre occasioni si dimostra un notevole direttore rossiniano.
Bellissima rappresentazione: Blake, Pertusi, Scandiuzzi, Scalchi, Devia e tutti i cantanti presenti sono ottimi rossiniani dalle voci stupefacenti, sorprendenti, emozionanti. Scandiuzzi è il Mosè perfetto, con il suo timbro di voce scuro e profondo, il più adatto al suo personaggio. 😍🙏🙏💥💯

Un casting de rêve: DEVIA/BLACKE/PERTUSI. Un opéra qui m'était totalement inconnu. Mais quel bonheur . A écouter (et regarder) sans modération. Pour les (vrais) amateurs de grande et sublime musique de ROSSINI.

The actual version is the original version of the opera in 3 acts as Rossini composed it without overture. in 1827 the opera was presented at the Paris Opera, in French in 4 acts with the title "Moïse et Pharaon ou le Passage de la mer Rouge". Luigi Balocchi et d’Étienne de Jouy wrote a new libretto for the opera on this occasion. There have been many changes or additions during the interval between the two major presentations in Italy and France. It was at that time a huge success in both countries . Riccardo Mutti considers this opera as the best of Rossini's.
