I'm Malaysian and I didn't even know we have this type of tribe. My grandmother and my mother used to live in a Kampung house nearby the river but they have moved out from there and live in the more modernized town then city of Sabah.
This documentary intimately definitely is eye opening. Thank you for filming this and showing to the world.
    Much love and respect.

I still remember when I was 34 years old. I stayed and lived with the Agta in the sierra Madre in palanan Isabela Philippines. Once one of the most dense virgin forests some 28 years ago. I stayed with my friend Lakab family for 10 straight months. I lived like them. It was a humbling experience in my life. I learned the real jungle survival as hunters and fishers. This was the best and most fulfilling part of my life. I am now 63 years old today. Everything is still fresh in my heart and mind. Yangka Tomo Lakab.

The weapon we called as "Sumpit" they usually used for enemy/hunt ..Some orang asli are modern too but half of them still live in their tribes..thanks for this documentary , not many people know about their lifestyle, this is my first time see their amazing tribes.

In India there is a tribe called Munda, they are genetically closely related to Mah Meri and Temuan people of Malaysia. According to linguist Paul Sidwell, Munda languages arrived on the coast of Odisha from Southeast Asia about 4000-3500 years ago. The Munda people are an Austroasiatic speaking ethnic group of India. They predominantly speak the Mundari language as their native language, which belongs to the Munda subgroup of Austroasiatic languages. They are similar to the Soliga, Paniya and Kanikkaran tribes of India.

The log they used for fishing isn't that poisonous. We used that too to catch fish. It's eco-friendly and it's safe to consume the fishes.
