Sheriff has to kill the imposters
Imposters are normal imps that kill the crewmates
Crewmates are normal crew that do tasks and try vote off imps
Jester acts as imposter and tries to get voted off to win
Sheriff tries to find out who imposter is and can kill them. If they kill of a crewmate, they also die but.
if you’re the sheriff your job is to try and find out who are the impostors and kill them, but if you kill crew, you die instead

What’s the difference between sheriff and imposter
Imposter can kill anyone and also vent but the Sheriff can only kill imposters and if they try to kill a crewmate the Sheriff will die instead

Wait I don’t understand the role of the sheriff lol
They are a crew mate that can kill people. But the sheriff can only kill impostors, if the sheriff tries to kill a crew mate, the sheriff dies but the crew mate that was almost killed stays alive. There’s really no way to prove you’re the sheriff because you kill people, but you kill the bad people whereas impostors kill the good people. Hope this explains it better
