The firmware is still buggy, doesn't display the received signal strength indicator on the AM band or leave the screen with the tuned frequency on. Overall it has been spending time at the outside table and has been rock solid.
Really enjoying the weather tabletop Sangean CL-100. It's an older model so the AM/FM bands are not as good, but the weather alert features are great, have kept us aware of the storms and floods all summer long.

Hej that is very very strange that your Sangean MMR-99 does not show signal strength indicator on my Sangean MMR-99 I have no problems with the signal strength indicator. And mine Sangean MMR-99 runs very smooth but I bought my Sangean MMR-99 in Sweden and mine does not have the weather band so i have a slightly different model. And it happens sometimes happens that you get a radio that is not okay, you might have to return the Sangean MMR-99 and get a new one take care and have a nice day.

nice looking emergency radio. I have a Midland ER210. It's the same kind of AM/FM/WX emergency radio but it is a bit smaller and has less features than that one.
I don't have the CC Radio Solar but I do have the C Crane Solar Observer which is excellent and less expensive. Unfortunately I just received their new catalog and it appears that the Solar Observer had been discontinued, and that's a shame. Thanks for the video.
