    That looks good, I would recommend getting a log skate to keep it out of the dirt.... I wondered about a similar set up... you proved it can work. Thanks

    Use a suspension locker. Itll save a lot of wear and tear on the suspension.

      I never used a suspension locker. But the log hitch doesn’t put much weight on the bike.

    A strap would save wear on your cable good setup

      Thanks Ronnie, we have thought of a strap and we are toying around with different types of straps and lengths. But the cable is holding up very well. But we are looking for a strap that holds up well and is not too expensive. We are want to keep this setup as inexpensive as possible. Thanks again.

    This might sound really wired but…. You ever have a customer put it on a really heavy duty zero turn mower?? It would be on a kubota ZD326, it’s about a 1500 lbs mower with a 3 cylinder Diesel engine.

      That’s a new one for me. No definitely not on a zero turn mower but it would work no problems. Just might be limited on how rough the terrain you can go on with the mower.

    What is the largest log (weight, diameter) you would pull with that hitch?

    • @ricsoutdoors7816
      @ricsoutdoors7816  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hi James, I have a 300lbs weight limit sticker on the ATV Log Hitch. Diameter 10”. It really depends on the diameter and length. I’ve pulled 20’ long 6/8” diameter. You’ll know if it’s too heavy when you start winching.

      Hi John, thanks. I got the ramps from discount ramps. They are called mad ramps. They are great.

      @@ricsoutdoors7816 ok, now I can see better but do you have a photo of how it would attach to the back of my 2001 Foreman 450 es? You speak of a 2 inch hitch receiver, and then a strap that goes up to the frame, but I can’t see as the video camera is too far away, secondly shipping from where in the US, I am in Canada.. thanks

      @@davidlesley1328
      It’s very easy just slip the hitch into your 2” receiver then hook your straps from the log hitch to any part on your frame. Does not have to be crazy tight. I can ship to Canada I can be a bit pricey the shipping. I just need your zip code to get you a shipping cost.
