- Motty Steinmetz & Yedidim Choir Singing "Rosh Hashanah Medley"
The Schapira-Scharf wedding was held Tuesday September 6 2016 at Ateres Avrohom Hall in Williamsburg. Music was performed by the Aaron Teitelbaum Orchestra & Productions Conducted by Maestro Yisroel Lamm with keyboardist Meir Adler, as well as singers Shloime Daskal, Isaac Honig and Motty Steinmetz. accompanied by the Yedidim Choir
The chosson, Akiva Schapira, is a grandson of the previous Sadigura Rebbe, the Ikvei Abirim zt”l. He is a son of Rav and Mrs. Pinchos Schapira, rov of the Sadigura Shul in Tel Aviv.
The kallah is a great-granddaughter of the previous Sadigura Rebbe, the Ikvei Abirim zt”l. She is a daughter of Rav Shlomo Scharf, who is a son of Rav and Mrs. Shmuel Scharf of Boro Park, the Ikvei Abirim’s son-in-law and daughter.

I have always been drawn to the Jewish communities here in London so when I was allocated to a home in NW4 it was a strange 'homecoming'. I came upon Motty Steinmetz through You Tube wanderings and was swept up in this amazingly expressive voice. Whenever times are tough I find myself listening to his powerful and uplifting voice.

I was an atheist. I grew up in an educated Confucius type family. We just try to do good as much as we know how according to Confucius' teachings. I saw the bad things in the pagan's society. One day when I was in high school I got into fight with a sorcerer also a priest in temple. He is very mean and rude to people especially me. Because my family was not local people. We were from Mainland China. After that I became very depressed and lack of energy felt like 90 years old. I could not find help form any kind of medicine for more than 18 years.. Finally after I came to America I went into a old school Pentecostal camp meeting (not the modern type). I felt total good again. And I started reading Bible with great hunger. Very soon I started experience supernatural (which I would not believe when I was atheist). I prayed for people I saw the crooked back got straight up, and other supernatural healing. And the presence of God and Holy Spirit (Ruach Hakodesh) full of love, joy and peace became real to me. Wow ! Messianic stage is possible. When one by one permeate with the Spirit of living God.
