What I love about how he made this series is how he wrote his character to always want to do the best for himself and others. Even if they’ve screwed him over. Like whenever Jeff gets in trouble for something he’s done to Jesse, Jesse still tries to defend him from any major punishment.
It's still incredible how this manages to make me cry, even though I know it's all an act. Amazing acting man, what else is there to say

I can relate. Watching this while in my 3rd year of university - hits way different now that I'm old enough to really process the story more. You can really appreciate the work more. :)

I was in middle school when this series came out. I was a Freshman in college when he ended it. And now I'm a fully grown man and I still come and rewatch this series. The acting is so good for amateurs, and for TH-cam. I didn't fully appreciate it in the moment because I didn't understand if it was real or not. I was always back and forth between "no way they're this good at acting" and "no way this is someone's real life". Which speaks volumes about how good they were at keeping this series a secret and making it as real as possible.

Honestly, the Psycho Series could have ended here and it would have been an insane happy ending. I remember watching these as they happened when I was a kid, briefly seeing it ended while I was in College, and now, I've come back to watch the whole thing since I stopped long before it ended.
I don't know if the story can reach a more satisfying conclusion from here, but I'm sure I'll find out. See you all on the other side.

I actually once assumed it was over with this 2015 video but this was back in my 8th grade mind when I didn’t know what working for free meant and I thought the psycho dad character changed but I was wrong
The series still kept going and they kept moving forward with their psycho videos til 2016
But they did make psycho dad’s villainous role tone down through summer 2015 but he went back to the main antagonist when it was fall that year
