Maybe it's for the better that you didn't come home from that one. After watching two of your squad mates die, and accidentally ending the third one yourself in a panicked frenzy, I don't think you'd ever sleep again if you had survived 😬 I have a crazy suggestion. Instead of earnestly trying to save Earth 3, use her few remaining days to practice your tactics. Your final turns in this mission were actually pretty well played, the game just decided to also play well and kicked in your teeth because it was fun. For the next missions, try bringing only one soldier. Focus on keeping them alive, taking the absolute best shots you can take, making your grenade count etc. Tiptoe around that map and surgically perform the mission and see if you can't bring him (or her) home. Force yourself into a situation of desperation an you'll get some excellent experience with how the game works, what your soldiers are capable of, and how the enemy wants to engage you. Sometimes you just do get shot through full cover, sometimes you just get outplayed, but if the game doesn't decide that playing fair is for losers, I'll bet that you are able to eventually complete a mission with just a single dude and when you start over, you can try to play everyone in your squad like they are the most important person on the map, with the advantage of getting help if the game decides to play rough.
😂 Im glad I brought snacks for this one!

Good ol' panic cascade lmao, honestly when you get a squadwipe this early it's better to just restart
@@giacomomeluzzi280 oh wait until the next episode. Where I learn about things men ambushed having overwatch.
One single random alien missed shot destroying your cover cascading into a 3 man KO is SO XCOM. Get RNG'd, lmao
I know, right? The aliens are like, "We are going to throw everything at you until something sticks!"
