  • Stacey goes where all of us have been before and pull an old derelict SEMI TRUCK out of a quite junkyard to demonstrate the steps necessary to get an old, neglected vehicle running again. From rat’s nests to chicken poop, it’s all here as Stacey slowly coaxes the old truck back to life. This show definitely drives the home the point that if something like THIS can be revived… there’s NOTHING that you should be afraid to tackle as long as you are armed with a set of tools and a sense of adventure! Go get ‘em!!!!

    This is cool Stacy I just found you on TH-cam I used to watch your show "gears" on horsepower tv and wondered what happened to the show I love your passion to save a vehicle from the crusher, ole' International looks like a cool project, I bought my 70' SS Chevelle from a junkyard sitting in the crusher 25 year's ago she's a lean mean beast tuxedo black red rally stripes the rest is around 50k of restomod it's amazing the savings I found with a little research for high performance parts I could've been into this for well over 100k, 572ci whipple motor just a tad over 700hp all under the factory Cowell induction hood, a 4 speed automatic GM 4L85E transmission transfers all that Chevy muscle to a 4:10 diff gear ratio super quick off the line fun car to mess with imports, I'm glad to be watching your show again 😎👍

    Since I used to drive a truck, I would love to see this restored to as original as possible and put back on the road

    Hey Stacey, I'd love to see an episode of the fully completed Heavy Metal project. Will we see that on the broadcast show or TH-cam anytime soon?

    That particular truck may have been built in my hometown, if it says Springfield, Ohio anywhere on it, that's my hometown. The original Lagonda plant is where my great grandmother, great aunt and great uncle retired from. They tore the old plant down around 2008, but the new plant is still going strong on SR-68.

    Did the international wrecker ever get finished? Last update I saw was the unmounted painted cab getting rubbers.

    I'm surprised that this international isn't a diesel engine, but a 345 cubic inch was popular in those days, my grandfather had a International pickup truck for the farm etc

      I've seen some newer episodes, Stacey has a few more gray hairs now, but still has the same energy!

    The downside of convertible tops is that anyone can knife it up to get into your vehicle and take whatever you have in your car

    That truck is fantastically cool. Matt from Diesel Creek will be watching this. But what is that offroad looking thing in metal color in the corner? Is that a real flexing off road truck ala what Matt from Matts Offroad recovery is building?

    • @OfficialStaceyDavid
      @OfficialStaceyDavid  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      That's Sgt. Rock! It doesn't flex in the middle, but it does drive over stuff! There are plenty of build videos of it on our channel, and a playlist.
