  • Join me for a spontanous day trip to Lierne. Wow what an area! Really wish i had a canoe or a kayak for this trip. Next summer i will plan a longer trip bringing a fishing kayak maby and a car with better ground clearence. The wilderness and solitude one can experience here is amazing. Watch out for bears tho! Known as the area in Norway with the densest population of bears. Did not encounter any on this trip, but came across a chill raindeer, and some grouse hanky panky action.. Hope you enjoy the video.
Thanks alot for watching, and dont forget to hit the Subscribe button so you dont miss out on my next video. In the next video I am joined by my friend Magnus for some camping and fishing in the areas surrounding Nesjøen and Tydal.

What size spoons did you use? And can you get some distance in the water with these?
We will be visiting Lierne next summer, looking forward to it!

Hi ! Anything from 6g up to 12g typically, but sometimes heavier if Its deep or I see fish far out.
How far you can throw really comes down to the thickness and type of Line you use. Also the reel and rod influence This. 0.20mm - 0.25mm would probably do you Good if you are a bit New to fishing. If you snag the bottom there is a chance you can Get it loose without breaking the Line.
