It's so much fun, constant fish! I have actually tried it but my kayak is very basic and staying in one spot while current is pushing isn't easy at all but when I do fish from the kayak it's always good
Hey Dillan I’ve just bought a couple of my first decent reels and I was wondering how you look after yours like how you wash them and what you spray on them/in them to make them live longer and not cease up
Hey mate, firstly good on you for buying some good gear...it's not cheap these days so good on you! And lastly all I do after I fish is rinse my rod and reel with my garden hose on the shower setting and then I gently tap the bottom of the rod on the ground to knock out any water left in the reel, I'll also cast a little line out after I've rinsed the reel and wind it back in to also get off any left over water and I'll also blow into my reel to get any other water out...occasionally I'll take apart the roller bearing for the reel and put some oil on it but that's it really, if you just rinse your reels and rods they will last a very long time!
Still happy to wait between uploads, the end vid worth the wait. You are also a way better fisherman than I had previously thought. I fuckin’ fished at Crowdy Head Bay this morning for not a bite. You would scoff if you heard the pathetic number of Trevs I’ve caught in the last year.😅

Just a 1/4 ounce with a size 1 hook mate
