    Thanks for sharing, they are really good :) BUT HOW CAN I MAKE THEM STOP "SWEATING"?

    • @GoodFoodBaddie
      @GoodFoodBaddie  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Bc the gummies are made with agar-agar and without an anti-caking agent, the sweating happens naturally. Sometimes I leave the gummies in the mold and place them in the fridge overnight and this helps to dry them out a bit more.

    • @GoodFoodBaddie
      @GoodFoodBaddie  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      That is because it’s made with agar agar, a vegan gelatin. So it’s a little softer than your typical texture of gummies, which are usually made with gelatin (which is made from animal parts).

    The sea moss doesn’t need to cool for a little bit

      It needs to be warm to activate the agar agar. As it cools it will solidify

      Because of the elderberry, the gummies are best consumed by someone 12 years old and older. 2-3 gummies is fine. 🙂 Adults can have 3-4 no more than 5.

    Are they supposed to be mushy ? Instead of gummy ? I made it like 10 times different measurements and still the same

      It very important to activate the agar-agar. Doing this properly helps them set. Here’s detailed instructions on my site:

    I really wanted to love this recipe, but I’m so disappointed with the texture😓. If not vegan, I would suggest not using vegan gelatin. It doesn’t feel gummy. It feels more like a really solid Jell-O jiggler or something…. but pastier maybe🤔. Hard to describe. Thank you for the instruction though. It was very helpful overall.

      Sorry it didn’t work out for you. Agar agar can be very challenging to set sometimes and it is true that the gummies won’t be as hard as using regular gelatin. Trying it with regular gelatin is always a good option if not concerned about keeping the gummies vegan
