I had to keep reminding myself that the house is an A-Frame. I truly like how the fireplace is close to the seating area - the whole place is very welcoming, especially with all the little touches - the firewood is already stacked! And that loft/library: filled with rescued books!! Thank you for sharing your three favorite books from the library, showing that there should be something for everyone. And bonus points for the NatGeo book! Nonetheless, the blue bathroom tile is very beautiful indeed - and what an inspiration to run the tile along the window wall (And to have a window at all in the bathroom!). My parents had a fireplace like that when I was growing up. It was fantastic! I loved it as a kid. Its called a carousel fireplace. Oh, such fond memories cozying up next to it.
My s/o and I just left Dahlia this morning! Such a beautiful place - modern but felt so cozy! Definitely planning on going back when the flowers are in bloom!

The basics for coffee/tea making can make or break the first impression. One place was a horror to travel to after flying in, it had a gigantic beautiful kitchen but no coffee/tea. It's the simple things.👍

This is such a warm and beautiful place with the timber and gold and warm furniture colours and textures! Gorgeous!! And that loft library is fantastic! I’d camp up there all day on a snowy weekend! The sunroom outside is stunning but for me the whole back yard and sunroom look too exposed. I hope there will be screening plants planted along the fence line to provide some privacy. I also felt the front concreted driveway was bland and not very attractive. A few planter boxes would soften the look! 🌺🌺

The landlocked states usually get good quality seafood. They'll fly fresh-caught the same day.
But somehow that ugly car matched the aesthetic of that home’s exterior PERFECTLY. It matched the home’s front door! There is always a good in all that we see the bad in 😉

Absolutely lovely property - the building design and interior are utterly lovely, the backyard looks like it will be even more amazing in the spring/summer with the wild flowers. However I think the front of the property with that expanse of concrete is a bit of a let down, it looks more like a village hall with parking at the front rather than a cozy, welcoming airbnb. But that's just my opinion. Can't fault the interior! Thanks for making this one...
