Reto dodging the undodgeable polymorph from Hecate is just more proof that he's built different

Hey Reto, not sure if you noticed but you can see the recharge progress on Hephaestus boons on the left side of the screen. Although realistically looking over there during battle isnt smart.
Hearing Nemesis complain about standing guard has me wondering if she's going to be the change to the first area boss like how Meg had her sisters in the first game.

he has a prosthetic leg, might be a way of showing his deformity.

I second the idea to gift to the spidey gal or Dora as they're both chara's that'd look fun to hang out with along side skelly. Granted all characters have their charm so far
I really like Hephaestus' design in this. There's already SO much in the game, I'm amazed. Like the item gathering, armor, whole new gods, storyline, weapons, tarot card system, trinkets. I can also see development taking a min bc they are trying to squish so much in. But I love what they have already
I'm loving the narrator interactions in this one! It really feels like Melinoë considers Homer a friend.
Hephaestus is so hot in this game. Well, all the gods are made to look hot but he is going for a different demographic of hotness.

I didn't get acess to the test but I CAN'T WAAIT to try his boons! They look awesome and I know I'll end up loooooving them! AND I'M IN LOVE WITH HIS DESIGN OMG!!!!! It makes total sense he'd damage himself in a forge accident but be skilled enough to make himself a new leg!!!! he looks AWESOME!!!
With the amount of shinies & glimmers I've been curious if they'll release it with HDR capabilities unlike the first.

Not that unusual for depictions of her. If the reason she tends the hearth is because she's a shut-in hermit, that's perfectly understandable.
I'm definitely interested in learning more about and seeing more of Nemesis.

does anyone know what part of underworld this game takes place at? I thought it said Erebus, but It's still not clear to me where in the Hades games universe this would be. It kind of looks like a dark version of Elysium but the vibes are all off
Erebus is both the name for an actual part of the greek underworld and for the father of Nyx's children. As a place what goes on here changes for each account you read, it may be the dark passage that leads to the House of Hades and where Nyx lives, it could be the very place Hades lives with Persephone (Romans liked to call Persephone/Proserpina the Queen of Erebus), some also say this is where both the Furies and Cerberus reside along with some jailed Titans, finally we have versions telling this is the part of the underworld that borders the Ocean at the edge of the world.
Based on some dialogue I heard thus far, it seems this version of Erebus is where the souls of the dead wait to be judged or to be ferried by Charon. So I think it would reside on the border of the Underworld, although closer to the House of Hades; a waiting room of sorts (but in this case it's a whole region lol)
Erebus is also in Hades 1; the infernal gates that you do the little perfect clear trials in take you to little rooms in Erebus, and it’s also where the optional fight with Charon takes place. It looks different than this version though

2:37 it has nothing to do with the attack speed of the weapon. it always activates on the first hit, and then theres 10 seconds where it cannot activate at all. and then on the next hit it always activates

This opinion might not mean anything but I don't like how they do Hestia here. It already felt off before, but having her say "I hate everybody" is like the nail in the coffin for me. That's not something she would ever say. Hestia is like the only undramatic god in this pantheon. She's the Goddess of the Hearth. She keeps homes warm and families together. That's why Hestia is bestia. Not here unfortunately.
"Hate" is a strong word, but her family gives plenty of reason for it. She gave up her seat on the Olympian council because she didn't care for the politics. It's fair to say she doesn't enjoy dealing with people very much. Her being the flame goddess, you could imagine a fiery temper, or just a quiet, smoldering resentment.

Yeah, hate is a strong word, which is why it irks me when she said it here.. Hestia is a gentle goddess, if she does bear some resentment, she wouldn't be this aggressive..

@@IntoTheHalfMoon13 While I am a huge fan of Rick Riordan, he shouldn't have influence over ALL fiction. The fun thing about both him and Supergiant is that they tend to provide their own unique perspective on these stories.
@@angelo7243 I don't take it too seriously. Her lines so far have sounded somewhat lighthearted and insincere, like so many folks I've known who claim to be a "grumpy old lady" while in reality being some of the kindest people in the world.

Why the wheelchair annnd the prosthetic ? One or the other would make more sense surely?
People with prosthetics often tend to still use wheelchairs for most of the day, as they're usually not a full replacement of what your legs can do for you
why do people with contacts still use glasses?
Well, the wheelchair is accurate, as some depictions of hephaestus depict him with one, as for the prosthetic, in myth he has a clubbed foot due to being thrown off mount Olympus by Hera, so reasonable to assume he decided to replace it with a metal one.
As for both, walking with a prosthetic can be tricky, so why not just use the wheelchair most of the time?
