It used to be that every single one of Yoshi's sword attacks were unblockable. Over time this changed as Yoshi got new moves but it explains why Flea was unblockable.
in the first throw yoshimitsu doesn't actually clone himself. you can check it by pausing every frame and you'll see only one yoshi every time. pretty cool stuff
I believe that might have something to do with the PS1 not being able to render multiple Yoshimitsu models or something? I could be making that up though
@@kwgtfg youre not making that up as harada stated that it takes a lot more memory in the tag games when theres multiple characters on screen. mightve been the reason but either way it looks cool

Heck, Tag 2 was when up to four characters (at once) can be rendered and (mostly) active at the same time, where-as, due to hardware limitations (both arcade and even on PS2 port) of Tag 1, only 2 people can be rendered on-screen at the same time. Most hilarious example to see? When you do one of the King's special tag throws where the opponent is held on the shoulders of one of the wrestlers for the other to do a leaping clothesline onto. For a good moment, the camera focuses on the victim clearly floating in midair by the time the (Armor?) King comes into view for the blow.

If you picked Yoshi against Gon he could not hit you if you entered the flea stance. He would just kill himself trying to hit you because he was too damn small.
Please, a Tekken 3 playlist. I play Tekken since I was like 12 or 13, now I'm 37. Still one of my most favorite games. I have FPGA Mister, very expensive toy, basically JUST to play this game and some other ps1 things. But I never got so exploratory with it, only mildly. And still seeing news about T3 brings great joy to my heart, honestly.

He is really good in T3. Jab, d1, df4, sweep, df2, and being able to parry is more than enough to compete, even against the better characters (except maybe vs Ling). His df4 and df2 are especially annoying to deal with.
Please do a vid on Soul Calibur Yoshimitsu and all the wacky moves Tekken Yoshimitsu doesn't have. P.e. Soul Calibur version has a Indian Sit Harakiri! Very specific, but could be used in some situations...
Now i wanna see why bryans apparently low tier, or if thats just relative, cuz he feels undercooked moveset wise Also its kind of a shame to me that most modern chars only do 50 dmg for unblockavles andback throws
@@Shibu_PL i knew bout the launchers sucking, taunts only good follow up was mach punchi think, and i think snake edge gave like 1 combo but not very good, he got a glow up in tag 1
They removed it because the animation looked weird depending on your tv. If your didn't have a 60hz screen then you could only see one Yoshi during that throw animation.

That b,B+1 sword stab unblockable is surprisingly reliable against the AI. Also, f,F+3+4,1+2,3+4 is very good for Time Attack runs.

Bryan had very bad lows in T3 (his snake edge was even more useless because it didn't launch) and basically no fast launchers.

Yoshi b,b+1 also hit grounded large characters if you were in close range among other things.
