Listened to his book this week, narrated by Matthew. I just adore him. It’s heartbreaking that he never felt whole, never felt he was enough. I imagine so many women would have loved to spend a lifetime with him, including me. He always ended relationships so that he had control of it ending so that he wouldn’t be abandoned. Although he broke hearts, many of those women remained friends and I bet would have never left him. Now on the other side of the veil, may he eternally feel like warm honey, (his words) absolute acceptance, whole and unconditional love. 🤍🕊️ You were brilliant Mattman and so loved. 🦇

I feel exactly the same way. He was always enough but so sad that he never believed it himself. So sad that he never reached full happiness and peace, and never achieved the dream of getting married and having children. He would have been a great father. Miss you Matty! 💔😭

I know that I should never question God's plan, but I will never understand how He could take someone as beautiful and wonderful as Matthew Perry from this world. Matthew was only 54, much too young to leave us so soon. He had two simple dreams: to be a husband and father. I still can't believe that he will never get the chance to make that happen. 🥺🦇💔

It breaks my heart in two as well…When I heard he passed away I was doing my prayers and thinking the same…But I have Faith God knew he did more than his share of suffering and through his stories and strengths he still will help so many…Plus when we miss Mathew we can watch a Friends episode with his amazing comedic timing and sarcasm…Rest in Peace Mathew Perry 🙏🙏❤️❤️
I always knew that Matthew’s character as Chandler was extremely funny in Friends. I didn’t realize just how quick witted, smart and funny he was in real life.
Fun fact: he auditioned for the part because he thought he *was* Chandler 🪽❤️
He added a lot of his charm and jokes on Friends on the spot.

Matt Perry seemed like such a nice guy, I read his book and couldn’t believe how tormented he was by his addictions…so sad and tragic that such a talented guy would be so unhappy. Such a difference in the 3 years between interviews…..addiction must have gotten much worse.

I never watched friends but i love him for his beautiful book and his bok helping me not giving up in my struggles and i know he reallt wanted to help us and u want to make him Proud ,,,, he helped me and i owes it to him ,,, i think his mission in life is fulfilled . Matthew had so much talent. Naturally funny, a gifted actor and a multi sport athlete. So sad that he never felt that he was worthy enough - if only he knew how truly loved he was and how much joy he brought others.

Although Studio 60 wasn't a ratings success, it is probably my favorite show of all time. Matthew Perry was good on "Friends", but he was GREAT on Studio 60.
