I have come to look forward every week to your videos. This week I had the satisfaction of filling up my reserve compost bin to the top with finished compost from the summer. Ready for renewing this garden beds this fall. A very satisfying project. Lots of microbes for sure.
Wonderful and thank you so much for helping celebrate the contributors gardens. Please let me know how your garden does.
G'day from Queensland, it is great to see that the same method we use here, works just as well in the Northern hemisphere. Several years ago we needed a crowbar to dig holes, now we use a hand trowel. Turmeric is growing wild, and self sown seedlings pop up everywhere. Anyone interested in this style of gardening should read 'one straw revolution ' by Masanabu Fukuoka ( Hope I spelt that correctly!) Happy gardening 😊
Sure love to get your soil in our lab and get you some video of what's in your soil.
We will see what we can do. Email me.
I have chickens so I’ll be adding the manure to the soil when the garden is done.
Sound like a good way to feed your micro life. Thank you for visiting.

Hi Wayland! I am also in OK. Love your channel. Do you have problems with pill bugs using deep mulch? I have trouble with them eating my strawberries, baby bean seedlings and baby squash seedlings as soon as they come up. What do you recommend to control them?
We find they prefer mulch as food and we try to keep our mulch deep they don't seem to bother the seedlings. We are more concerned by slugs and grasshoppers. And yes my garden is full of them. Thank you for visiting my garden story.
