Bro this is the best video as you said all the other you tubers only talk about villages but we have very rich modern culture. In colombo you will find best out of best restaurants, hotels and night clubs it’s basically busy place and entertainment hub

Most likely he does not because tourist do not want to go to Tamil and Muslim area. They do not want to show to the world that Sri Lanka is not a paradise as travel channels and social media like to portray.
@pavan923 I really don’t like this weird insinuation, I don’t care about religion or cast, in fact that’s the biggest blessing of travelling, you look beyond the pettiness of these things.
If you have some good places send me the list and I’ll check them out on my next trip.

Everybody likes to preach peace and love while sitting peacefully in their nice suburban American home until the time comes when they realize the nice beaches they like to party in in developing nations were sites where women and children were bombed, their jungle resorts where families were massacred. If you want to find a place where people will accept each other, do NOT come to Sri Lanka. And better yet, maybe do some research into the history of places before you travel there. The Tamils and Moors do not need western tourists to come to their places in order to make their lives better. Every country has problems, but the difference comes is that for one country the main problem is that they are unable to drive their mobility scooter to Walmart while in another country the main issue is that they are unable to find food to put on their plate. If it was up to most of the world these religious and ethnic differences would not be important but it is forced to be otherwise due to those in power who have started these wars.
@pavan923 I am confused, you don’t want anyone to come but also want them to come and do the research and sit and cry only because of what happened in the past? If that’s the conditions, I have some news for you, there aren’t many places on the planet where atrocities haven’t happened. The way is to move forward and forge community and harmony.
I understand the resentment but I’m sorry I won’t be taking part in it.
