      Premier's are useless. Just post the video and be done with it.

    • @distantsignal
      @distantsignal  3 ปีที่แล้ว +28

      Yeah, I got the message distinctly from you guys last time. The only value I can see in them is if I could post a Premiere on a video before I had it finished so it would let everyone know one was coming.

    • @dirt_lot_photography
      @dirt_lot_photography 3 ปีที่แล้ว +13

      Distant Signal I appreciate your work regardless of how it comes out. I think part of the problem isn’t so much the premiere itself, but that it barely distinguishes itself from all the other videos in people’s feeds, so it gets frustrating quickly. Not your fault 👍

      Now, how do we get TH-cam to cut down on the number of intrusive ads? Yes, I know, that's how they make money, but the frequency has gone way up, to the point of detracting from the video.

      CP Rail does not wash anything, unless they are about to repaint it, or sell it. And even then, you would have to light a fire under them to get it done.

    The way US railroads are constructed is so different than in the UK, you seem to have way more inclines and downhill sections than we do in the UK. Normally for the fill section, and knowing the section through Haines City itself is downhill towards Tampa, we would have a cutting, excavation, to take away the heavy uphill section, before sitting on a fill. Interesting to watch, and see how others do it. With all of the housing nearby, and commerce, their would be no way to alter it now. Keep up the good work Danny, if the Covid-19 pandemic had not been on us, we would be again staying at Southern Dunes, just out the back of Haines City, sadly best we can hope for is 2021 hopefully., Stay safe, and keep the video's coming!!!

  • @darksideemt

    My neighborhood in Haines City is right next to the tracks. This week I saw a couple of those trains on the tracks and one had a new or very clean CSX locomotive in the lead. One of them was sitting on the spur on the fill that you drove by (that's just south of my neighborhood). Very cool to see you in my area.

    Just found the the channel a day ago, Now I am in railfan heaven. I noticed that you do strictly Florida action (CSX). If only it was possible to do other lines. In my town UP, BNSF and KCS all converge in one hub on the way to Houston TX. Lots of action, UP always has the most unusual freight- army vehicles, strange machines and windmill blades (they are huge).

      @Doug C it's algorithm influencing bots most likely. They are set out to "like" videos they want to see go viral by spending the rest of the time disliking anything else. Disney kind of poked fun at it in "Ralph breaks the internet" but in reality there are millions of bots that spend all their resources attempting to influence the algorithms so that people will see something they wouldn't normally look at. And given the political atmosphere right now, those little bots are working double time to keep you interested in who they want you to vote for.
