When you restore moisture to the land, it's imperative to then have take prestige tress to help improve the land's soil and water retention. most Eucalyptus are not prestige tress. They will promote fire conditions.

Hi Tony. Glad you like the content mate! They are definitely not swales. They don’t hold water, they leak. Designed to spread water across a contour and then allow it to infiltrate quite quickly.
In India where 100s of Millions are doing this by hand. It has changed their lives. Given them futures. After cutting down all our trees and the smoothing out of our land to make it easier to farm in the past. All of Australia needs to be resculpted. Retain the water. Let is soak into the land- not run off and cause gullies.
