@@johnphilipdelagente5802Current processors like Snapdragon 8 generations three and four and Dimensity 9400 and 9300 have high consumption and they are somehow showing off because there is no software or game that also requires processing power when there are still older Snapdragons like 888 or 8 generation one or Dimensity 9200 And even 9000 are struggling to run games and need more optimization, not making processors with frequencies above 4 GHz!!! When a phone doesn't have software to use this power, then what is the need for it? Huawei is still using it despite the good progress it has made, but it is weak and needs to be stronger. I think that Snapdragon 8 generation 2 and Dimensity 9200 were enough for the phone..
Huawei is the true champion here, after being banished and nerfed for years, forced to use older tech and struggle - yet they still somehow manage to create a beast of a phone that can actually compete with all the other flagships! I got the S24U and I cant get even close to 9h SOT. Had it for a week, am a heavy user. Gaming Diablo Immortal and Genshin - taking lots of photos and videos, perma using social media and 5G. My best SOT was around 6h. Can't wait to see what Huawei's Mate 70 will do!
I have the Zfold 6, I took it off the charger when I was going to work. I worked for 12hrs, while connected to the Bluetooth the whole time, watching videos and playing music and I came back home with over 30%
I have a Honor Magic 6 Pro and I got two updates. The first one caused the battery to drain crazily, and it was terrible. Then, the second small update came to fix the problem, and now the battery is actually lasting longer than ever! Which is impressive. Yesterday, I woke up at 6 in the morning, went to work, used the phone here and there, then after work, I used the phone until 10 in the evening. Then I put on some podcast videos on TH-cam and went to sleep. I forgot to put it on the charger. I woke up at 8 in the morning, which means 26 hours, and the phone was at 31% battery life. That's wow!😮 Edit: by the way i use all the high performance models, Always on display 24 hours, high resolution, 120, color correction, video color correction, all gesture's on, "without using dark mode" Max performance.

Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 offers impressive performance but comes with a higher power consumption. In contrast, the Dimensity 9300 excels in both battery optimization and performance, making it a strong contender. The A17 Pro strikes a good balance between power and efficiency. The Kirin 9010 chip, while highly efficient in terms of battery life, falls short in performance compared to its competitors. if you do this test's without benchamrk( this is not a typical activity in using a phone), vivo x100 ultra will have much bettter score. Vivo has less restrictive processor clock settings than the competition. The results are probably better but at the cost of temperature and battery drain..
i agree with you🙏🙏,the real winner of this test is the one that had the highest battery percentage at the 5 hour mark, because that didn't include benchmarks and what makes one phone to have better battery than the other during benchmark tests just depends on the one with that refuses to utilize it's chipset power for e.g the vivo x100 ultra along with the huawei p70 ultra and the honor magic 6 pro were leading in the 5hour until we reached the benchmark section and the vivo x100 ultra fell apart ,not because it has bad battery endurance ,but because it still keeps the chipset running at a high speed despite being hot ,as opposed to others that prefer to limit the performance when there are hot
And, i have anxiety about my VivoX100pro that it doesn't give a good battery backup. Lol 😅 Every other battery test shows its always amongst the top 3.
Keep in mind Honor and Huawei have a setting named "Smart battery Capacity" on by default which charges the battery to 96% and not it's actual peak to extend battery life and you can't fully drain the phones to 0% either thats another feature you can't disable to conserve battery life so that was very impressive battery life from those two phones
I was not getting the HUAWEI because of the Google Services even thugh they have great devices. but when I saw the SoC in their flagship PURA 70ULTRA, on Notebookcheck and others, the difference between SD 8 Gen3 and the Kirin 9010 it was huge, I don't know whyu they are so behind on SoC, back in the past when P20 was a great phone with google Services I remember the Kirin 970 was good power, but power hungry still, as every flagship is even today. Only the Honor M6 Pro, 1+ 12 & Vivo (stangely the Pro-Dimensity one) can hold good time for a flagship, but Honor is grewat with battery, and there are two places from where you can manually choose Apps to run in the background- App Launch Settings and Battery Optimization, and your Notifications from apps you find important will keep coming, unlike as before where people say Chinese phones tend to close apps to save battery and you don't get notifications. Had a Small issue at first with taht, until I figured the settings, everything dings on the moment.

@@kaiserfakinaway5909 False. It's not underrated. And the public know their stuff. And in China they use Vivo's and Xiaomi's and Huawei's and Samsung's a lot. So are you saying it from the perspective of the world or from the perspective of a Chinese or Asian, because that would be flawed, in that the only place that these companies have the most significance in even market share is because of their success in China. So the public you are referring to don't even have or know about these phones (if speaking from the world perspective), because the focus of many of these companies is to enlarge their market share in their home country before even considering the world. Mediatek has coming along way from a hot cooking machine in a decade to the efficient chip, almost head on head with Qualcomm. That’s damn impressive. Samsung should consider Dimensity at-least for the outside of U.S. Mediatek is really working on their chips. This video proves it And for Huawei who are wondering, here’s the breakdown of cores, Octa-core (1x2.3 GHz & 3x2.18 GHz & 4x1.55 GHz Cortex-A510). Though it’s 7nm it’s less powerful to the current flagship SOC’s. Hence there is no surprise it got more SOT in video
That's because it's not performing as fast as the the other chips. If you equalized the performance to match the other two would crush it in efficiency.
@@asandax6That would only happen in performance based activities. For such casual use there shouldnt be any difference. Huawei's optimixation is insane here.
Interesting thing to note here is the Huawei is using a 7 nanometer chip which is considered less powerful and optimized yet is doing the best when it comes to battery

@@KtatatamWhy do you say that this was a battery test and Huawei was able to set such a record with the processor it made, even though it has 7nm lithography and is using Android 12, and on the other hand, many software and games are not optimized for it. For example, if you want to watch a movie on your phone, when your battery drains faster, you say it's because of the powerful processor? Well, the manufacturer of your phone should adjust the processor for different tasks. You should take into account that Huawei has improved tremendously since it was banned until now, as well as offering better photography performance with a weaker processor (although the mobile camera industry owes Huawei always brought the first ones like this 50x and 100x digital zoom and 5x and 10x optical zoom on the phone) Huawei is a masterpiece but still not worth buying due to the high price and being behind the competitors..

@@Ktatatam nah bro I've used old Huawei's in the pass and they are very excellent phones
That's wow!😮

It performs on par with the Exynos 2100 and Snapdragon 888, which were released in 2020.

if you do this test's without benchamrk( this is not a typical activity in using a phone), vivo x100 ultra will have much bettter score. Vivo has less restrictive processor clock settings than the competition. The results are probably better but at the cost of temperature and battery drain..
A lot of people play demanding games on their phones so I run an hour of benchmarks to simulate this
i agree with you🙏🙏,the real winner of this test is the one that had the highest battery percentage at the 5 hour mark, because that didn't include benchmarks and what makes one phone to have better battery than the other during benchmark tests just depends on the one with that refuses to utilize it's chipset power for e.g the vivo x100 ultra along with the huawei p70 ultra and the honor magic 6 pro were leading in the 5hour until we reached the benchmark section and the vivo x100 ultra fell apart ,not because it has bad battery endurance ,but because it still keeps the chipset running at a high speed despite being hot ,as opposed to others that prefer to limit the performance when there are hot
And, i have anxiety about my VivoX100pro that it doesn't give a good battery backup. Lol 😅
Every other battery test shows its always amongst the top 3.
💚HONOR AND HUAWEI💚
Keep in mind Honor and Huawei have a setting named "Smart battery Capacity" on by default which charges the battery to 96% and not it's actual peak to extend battery life and you can't fully drain the phones to 0% either thats another feature you can't disable to conserve battery life so that was very impressive battery life from those two phones
Huawei 👑
That Huawei Pura 70 with 7nm chip lasted more than others 4nm chips is a statement in itself. 😮😮

Or maybe the developers should work with Huawei instead
People who actually know stuff and have been following for a while know that Mediatek's flagship chips have been great for a few years and good for half a decade.
Mediatek is underrated in the public's eye but forget about that, the public even fails to recognize the X100 Ultra or the Find X7 Ultra as worthy S24 Ultra competitors so what do you expect from them lol
Also who says mediatek has worked and works with a lot of big names like Nvidia, and they even overtook qualcomm in shipments of 5G chipsets earlier this year or last year i don't remember, so no, they are not underrated at all. it may seem so, but that isn't it.

And for Huawei who are wondering, here’s the breakdown of cores, Octa-core (1x2.3 GHz & 3x2.18 GHz & 4x1.55 GHz Cortex-A510). Though it’s 7nm it’s less powerful to the current flagship SOC’s. Hence there is no surprise it got more SOT in video
