The calendar was changed from the Julius to the Gregorian calendar, but the weekly cycle of the week never changed. The Saturday day Sabbath that Jesus kept is the same Saturday day Sabbath that SDA's keep today. In over 106 languages the word for Saturday is Sabbath.

The Seventh Day Sabbath was made for man and not man made for the Sabbath since Eden.

Seal of God? Mark of the beast? Those are the only two options - The Sabbath will be the great test of loyalty; for it is the point of truth especially controverted. When the final test shall be brought to bear upon men, then the line of distinction will be drawn between those who serve God and those who serve him not. While the observance of the false sabbath in compliance with the law of the State, contrary to the fourth commandment, will be an avowal of allegiance to a power that is in opposition to God, the keeping of the true Sabbath, in obedience to God's law, is an evidence of loyalty to the Creator. While one class, by accepting the sign of submission to earthly powers, receive the mark of the beast, the other, choosing the token of allegiance to divine authority, receive the seal of God. 😊 does the Bible tells you SDA religion that the Sabbath is the mark for the church and Sunday is the mark of the beast?

@@tanieluleatioo1401 yes, it does - “And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.” Revelation 12:17 KJV - “Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.” Revelation 14:12 KJV - “Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.” Revelation 22:14 KJV. Who is the devil coming after? Those who KEEP the commandments of God. Who are the saints of God? Those who KEEP the commandments of God. Who has right to the tree of life and may enter through the gates into the city? Blessed are those who DO his commandments. Brother I have never said that jesus was not keeping the sabbath.
I said the Saturday sabbath didn't exist in that time because the gregorian calendar was not established. Jesus had a custom based on the calendar God gave moses when he was about to deliver them from slavery from Egypt. This calendar was based on Genesis 1: verse 14.

To Bernard- you are mistaken. Jesus kept the Sabbath which is Saturday. Saturday/ Sabbath is the 7th day of the week. It has been that way since creation.

God created the world in 7 days and rested on the 7th day. From the beginning of the world it has been a 7 days week not eight days.
God said in his commandments, remember the the Sabbath to keep it holy.
The keeping the Sabbath holy started in the garden of Eden. Not in the new testament 2000 years ago..

The Jewish people have been keeping the sabbath since the time of Jesus in an uninterrupted line. The days of the week are named after the planets in the sky. Sunday is the first day of the week, named after the largest planet in the sky. Monday is named after the moon, the second largest planet in the sky. If we go all the way down to Saturn, the seventh planet, that coincides with Saturday. The exact same day the Jews keep today. It is the sabbath day. The very same day Jesus kept. Amen!

@@chrisdelong2932 Not true because they went by a different calendar that we use today. In the days of Christ the Roman Julian calendar had an eight day week, obviously not jiving with a seven day week. In addition God's calendar instituted in Genesis 1:14, was NOT a continuously cycling seven day week because of the New Moon day which interrupted the cycle of common days with a holy day of rest every 30 days.

@@richardprice3363 Through the two great errors, the immortality of the soul, and Sunday sacredness, Satan will bring the people under his deceptions. While the former lays the foundation of Spiritualism, the latter creates a bond of sympathy with Rome. The Protestants of the United States will be foremost in stretching their hands across the gulf to grasp the hand of Spiritualism; they will reach over the abyss to clasp hands with the Roman power; and under the influence of this threefold union, this country will follow in the steps of Rome in trampling on the rights of conscience. Rome, whether pagan or Christian, remains the creation of Satan. It is therefore normal that he invented an 8th day in a new calendar, in opposition to divine truth.
In the same way that he redefined the divine word before Eve by putting her in doubt:
      - Genesis 2.21 "The serpent was the most cunning of all the animals of the field, which the Lord God had made. He said to the woman : Did God really say: You shall not eat of all the trees of the garden?
Do you also think that "The serpent was the most cunning of all the beasts of the field, which the LORD God had made. He said to men: Did God really say: Is the Sabbath really the seventh day ?
When God created the Sabbath Rome did not exist.

You have erred. Please be factual with details so your messages can be believed. You stated that Abraham was 100 years old when God asked him to sacrifice his son Isaac, but Abraham was 100 years old when his son Isaac was born. Sarah was 90. Isaac was not a child or too young when he went on that journey to where God was sending them. He was old enough to understand what was happening, too, so Abraham may have been 120 or older by that time.
