If you're 30 and you still really want to join the military, you could still try the U.S. Army. Green Berets, Army Rangers and Delta Force are proximal in some ways to the SEALs. And I have heard of some guys in their thirties becoming Navy SEALs and going through BUDS. Thomas ''Drago'' Zieran( who has an incredible and inspirational story) became a Navy SEAL at age 32. One former SEAL Team Commander on Andy Stumpf's podcast, Cleared Hot, talked about a guy who was 36 or 37 years old who used to be a garbage man going through BUDS and Andy even mentioned a guy in his BUDS class who was 36 years old.

Why? They are a terrible SF unit. They are always being rescued by Rangers and Marine Raiders and they are very average at ground warfare. Just talk to any SF unit thats had to work with them on an op.

I've heard of a lot situations like that. If you're under 18, then as of right now while she's legally responsibly for you, you can't sign the paper without your mom's consent( as people can enlist at 17 with parental consent). But once you do turn 18, it's up to you decide if that's what you really want to do and more, importantly WHY you want to do it. Ultimately, it's still your life and it'll still be your choice to make for yourself. Like someone else said on here, time is the most expensive currency you have( and we don't always see that when we're younger, I know that I didn't). You could always go to college first, that's true or you could even go to college while in the military. Good luck!

Rockportage with tiny waves - how weak. 217 had el niño 36 degrees rained for three days and nights during hellweek and 20 foot plus waves. The boats exploded onto the rocks as guys flew everywhere.
