Im glad to see that you are using Kadee shelf couplers on these as that is a detail that many manufacturers miss. I will need to get a bunch of these after I get some more FlexiFlo hoppers too. Man you guys and Scaletrains are wreaking havoc on my wallet.
Right?? Nothing drives me more nuts than to pay more than my car payment on a precision model only to have to immediately change couplers because the manufacturer put a cheap, flimsy plastic coupler on the model that won’t stand up to reliable operation.
I work for a living loading diesel into cars out of a refinery and I can comment on the quality of the build that it is very accurate to the real thing I’ve seen a few that are missing the bottom cap and UN placard holders but this is spectacular
Nice model, but we could really use these in N Scale too as there are currently no Canadian-specific tank cars available. These show up in numerous photographs on the north end of the British Columbia Railway during the 1970s so I could probably use a dozen or so.
I hope you designed the coupler pocket so that the Kadee #158s can be replaced with the more reliable standard head KDs. I also hope you don't use steel weights, as these interfere with uncoupling.
Wow, this is a nice treat! My Grandpa worked on the Procor line and helped with that design.
That's cool, thanks for sharing!
If you guys at rapido love star trek, then you are not the only one, I'm a fan too!!!
That's awesome!

Thanks so much!
Another great piece of rolling stock that is being offered, i plan on picking up the early Procor versions.
Great, thanks!
I'm very happy to see these cars come to market. I have always wanted this specific model but had to resort to scratchbuilding.
Thanks! We're really excited for these too!
I like your decision to go with Kadee 158 scale couplers. Hopefully those will become stock couplers on locomotives as well
Probably not, but you never know!

I'm looking forward to seeing the full underbrody brake rigging in person.
We'll have more samples coming soon!
Nice tankers! don't think I'll make the deadline, but I will be looking on online hobby shops for one!
No problem, these will be available in most hobby shops! There will be more releases coming in the future as well.
@@rapidotrains sweet, I'll be looking for them!
Great Video, Love Procor tankers, I see them all of the time! Hoping they also come in N scale! 🙏 😇 😁
Thanks! We haven't done that many N freight cars...
Where are mind !!!! Lol.. thanks for sharing and keep up the great work... Lance
Our pleasure!
Have my BC Rail pre-ordered. More BCRail stuff please!!
Stay tuned!
@@rapidotrains I can't wait!
Great looking model, you guys to great work! What commodities were/are transported in these cars?
Thanks! These would generally carry goods that didn't need freeze protection such as oil and fuel.
Do you have rotating bearing caps for these cars?
Unfortunately we don't.

For sure, we'll be considering these in N scale for a future project!
@@rapidotrains Great news! Thank you for your reply.
hola buenas noche muchas gracias por subir el video abrazo grande
You're welcome!

These will accept the new Kadee #148 whisker coupler with the standard head.
Wow Nice.
Thanks!
This would be nice in G scale as a display model . Hmmm I wonder if ...
G isn't in our plans now, but who knows, maybe one day!
I got a 6-pack on order!!!

Thanks! Janet is preparing for her next big adventure...

I call the Procor tank cars GP20T and the EMD locomotive the GP20L
That works!
The T means tanker and the L means locomotive!
Would they make sense in 1990’s freight trains
Absolutely.
rapidotrains can you guys make trailer train 60ft flatcars
How long are these cars?
The prototypes are 51 feet long or just around 7" in HO scale.
@@rapidotrains Thanks
