@@zhiwaskalimba4096 Just be warned: from what people have said, this is a _very_ hard instrument to tune, and it doesn’t come tuned out of the box; you have to do that yourself. As long as you have the patience to sit down and carefully tune it, you’ll be good.

​@@mbcommandnerdIt's just that the strings are new so they need to be broken in/adjusted to the environment, just like with any other stringed instruments. If they tuned it before shipping it, the instrument would likely get damaged.

I just bought this exact harp, and it’s arriving this Saturday! Can’t wait to hear it’s beautiful sound in real life (after I tune it, of course, as that’s the hardest part)!

This exact harp is just $100 on Amazon, so it’s quite affordable. Compared to a digital piano (which was my backup plan if this fell through), it’s far cheaper and far more portable too! I will warn you, though-because Amazon reviewers have said it numerous times, and I’ll say it again: this is VERY HARD to tune. So if you’re going to buy it yourself, you’ll need to be a very patient person, because rushing in an attempt to play it sooner rather than later will only result in lots of snapped strings and endless frustration. The more careful you are, the easier it will be.

To tune? Definitely. To play? From what I’ve heard, it’s extremely easy to learn (compared to the piano, which I _do_ have experience with. 88 keys vs 16 in the form of strings…I’d play this any day over the piano), so that part should be painless. Getting it tuned is the hard part. Emphasis on HARD.

I understand your frustration, but that’s one of the things you have to consider when buying a harp. They are notoriously hard to tune, and it’s very easy to break strings if you aren’t careful. A good tuning app on your phone or tablet should do the trick; just be careful not to twist the tuning posts too quickly or too much, or the strings will snap. Patience is key.

If you do not let it get way out of tune its easy .just attach tuner used for guitar or uke. You do not have to attach to each peg. Just be very careful and do NOT turn key much..say 1/16 increments
