As someone who is currently doing an apprenticeship learning typography, i get lost in just having to learn the stuff we need to know in Ps (and the other adobe programs) and thus i lose interest in being creative, but seeing you make such cool stuff really inspires me to try using those programs in a different way! I wanted you to know i followed this pretty much step by step using GIMP 2.10 instead of photoshop and it worked amazingly still, surprisingly simple and effective :)) thank you soooo much fam

The trend shifted literally just after you posted this lol. Now most people just use the actual 3D render function in Photoshop. This is still a good technique to learn tho, I'm sure there's a billion ways to put a twist on it for different projects
1. Loving the ease of your explanations etc, great videos! 2. I have a logo i want to make have chrome effect but, I get so far and the effects just go strange. Not sure where I am going wrong but could do with help, something that would only take a pro 5 mins to do is taking me forever.

IF ANYONE HAD TROUBLE WITH THE STAR LIKE I DID! On my version of photoshop, I could not for the life of me find any "star" box to tick. I could only select from "unconstrained, symmetric, fixed size, proportional and freeform". Every time I tried to make a star, it would be a blog square or some big ugly star that is NOT the aesthetic we are going for. Any who, I turned my star ratio all the way down to 10% and ticked the "freeform" and "from center" boxes and voila!
