I’ve been using 3D Glass Polish to remove fine scratches and etched water spots on glass. It was developed by Mike Phillips when he was working with 3D. It uses cerium oxide to polish the glass and it’s quite effective. I’ve found that polishing glass as one of the first steps before washing the vehicle makes cleanup a lot easier.
Nice man. Considering Mike was involved with that product it should definitely be a winner. Lets ope 3D does not mess it up nw that they are owned by a marketing group.
I’m about to reapply diamond glass and try to top it with Infinity Wax Diamond Vision. That’s the polar opposite product, a super hydrophobic and slick glass sealant that is low durability. The Diamond Glass wasn’t that great but was very very durable for me. I hammered it for 11 months parked outside full wiper use. We shall see if attempting to top it turns into a disaster.
Great video my brother. Yeah I didn’t really like the Protech line either for their coatings. I have one left of their nano body 36 I’m going to sell that as a 1 year coating to get rid of it. Like you said Jade not a bad product I think that’s from detail kings. But let’s see how it holds up.
@@MikeGDetailing exactly. I’m very disappointed in them I thought it was the new biggest baddest coating. They market it well but nothing to cry home about
Good review - I was hoping this product would be legit since I’m in the market for a new a glass polish. Will be picking this up. Happy to hear you were able to remove the coating using this polish and a foam pad. This was going to be my plan - polish with either Foam or MF to get the coating off. I don’t have any scratches so rayon pad is probably overkill. I have had DP Diamond Glass installed probably around the same time you released your video on it and it’s been holding up but will probably try something new - likely Amour Detail Supply Glass Coating. The DP glass coating pretty much lived up to the claim of 12 month durability for me but I really didn’t like the fact that you couldn’t top it with anything because it causes haziness or smearing. Glass cleaner and Rinseless Wash were the only things that worked lol. It’s an interesting product, different technology but I think the “hype” in it is fizzling out
I don’t have scratches to remove on the glass so I can’t comment on that. Mike Phillips has shown how capable the polish is on the dr. Beasley’s channel and the results are good.
Mike breaking out a small polisher! They are fun.
Yes they are

Mike don’t know how I missed this I just ordered it great video!
Thanks. It can be a little smeary to wipe off.
Great content as always, Mike. Thanks again!
Anytime. Appreciate you watching and supporting as always.

Good way to get rid of the diamond coatings. I just gave mine to my cousin who is starting to get into the detailing scene.

@@DetailingMadeSimpleYeah the way TRC hyped it is almost shameful considering how it actually performs.
@@chrisbradley3224 exactly. I was disappointed in that aspect from TRC.
Why use a Pixie and not a 15mm DA?
Convenience with no cord.

Thanks. The diamond stuff was definitely hyped up.
Looks great. Cerium oxide is dreadful- hard work and messy. Thanks.
How did it do with minor scratches?

Good video, but product is expensive.
