I have a three fund portfolio consisting of 33% S&P, 33% Total stock, and 33% international. I feel a need to focus on complete growth so I went 100% stocks, but does the SP500 and TSM overlap too much to make sense holding both? However I’ve been in the red for a month now. I work hard for my money, so investing is making me a nervous sad wreck. I don’t know if I should sell everything, sit and just wait but watching my portfolio dwindle away is such an eye -sore.

Question: Could it be that those recessions happened after rate cuts because of the reason they were cutting in the first place? Meaning... Economy was going bad and they had to stimulate and wasn't enough to recover. Now the cuts are not because the economy is bad, is because they need to ensure that they're not strangulating the Economy once Inflation is controlled. What's your thoughts on this?

And you’re right they did cut rates because the economy was underperforming and now they’re cutting rates because the economy is performing well. I don’t think that this scenario is anything like the past ones, but that does not mean a recession won’t come. I just don’t think rates cuts will have anything to do with it.

Just to clarify, cutting rates does not cause a recession. A rate cut usually occurs because the fed figured out that something is broken. It is a sign that the economy broke and if the fed cuts are too late, which they have been in the past, we often see a recession. The question is will it end up as a soft landing or will it crash the markets?

I always appreciated Jeremy's wisdom and breakdowns but I can't get on board with Honest. Yes, they have good products but nothing life changing or proprietary. Additionally, their prices are too high when compared to other brand offerings. Honest may be ok for those who are financially set but for those on a budget it doesn't make sense. When I had my child I could not justify those prices and I could afford it. Pass....

If AWM79K is everywhere you should probably ask yourself why that is the case? Obviously the move we have here is beyond what we had in the last 10 years or so. This comes with a plan, a plan which will make us survive when we can finally make own decisions and start to become independent. I know it sounds a bit odd that THIS company out of all of them is endorsing this living style but if you follow the lead you might understand why and how that works.
