Play passive and avoid common TD lines of fire untill the 183 gets spotted.. wich doesn't take long due to this tank having worse camo than an american house during Christmas. If you still get Heshed like this, they either got into a position you didn't know, or got the dumbest shot of his career. This tank is an RNGesus apostle after all Edit: forgot to say, keep in mind your own position also, TDs always preaim common frontline position. If your position is too obvious and you get spotted.. prepare for pain. Of course these few tips won't cover every situation and only covers average 183 drivers, but you may avoid a few battles getting ruined

The Jageroo and the 183 are similar because I find they perform optimally when standing back at long range and picking off heavy tanks. It negates their slower shell velocity, and also negates their poor camo
Very good and simple guide, the positioning part also applies to the Grille 15, you cannot be aggressive on that tank at all, you also have trash camo so you need solid cover after each shot. You also cannot defend yourself from rushes as your turret is bad.
I just got this thing and its unlike any other t10 I have. I genuinely don't know where to go sometimes. you can't push up bc you'll die, and sitting back can lead to missing a lot of shots bc of the inaccuracy.
The main point of playing the 183 is ONLY to be a day-ruiner. Sure, it is mostly played due to its extreme alpha of 930 AP, 1300 Hesh, but that is the only thing good about it (as Droodles highlighted).
I need this tutorial, its a hard choice when i use this, sniping just to see nothing and get shot by MT and LT, when following heavy just make you dying, just hard to going with this thing
This wasn't about the 183, it was about your intelligent thought process. I have lost count how many times my teams have lost a battle because 3 TDs camp in positions what prove ineffective. You proved you can spot, you can go forwards and it is possible to win and survive. Too many bad players sit together ( take dead rail for example) in an opposite corner to where their meds are fighting. This game isn't rocket science but a bit of thought processing goes a long way...sometimes for the whole duration of 7 minutes of a game
Thanks for the tips, but seeing as knowledge is power, a lot more 183 players have potentially just become a bit more dangerous. =( I had a guy the other day complaining about how TDs ruin the game because of how they "don't need skill to camp in spawn" and tend to ruin people's games even if those people are playing their tanks right. I don't think I agree with him , with the possible exception of the 183. But now that you've unleashed this video, can you release a video on battlefield awareness to help people avoid getting ba-donkered by 183s and TDs in general? (Awareness of common spots, shooting lanes, when to poke/not poke, etc?)
Ohh I have never worked that position in Castilla that effectively. That’s something new I learnt. And am I one of those dudes who doesn’t camp much in a 183 and plays alongside my heavies and supports them in a massive way
This tank is very , situational, you really have to take note of every player on the map. how both team moves determines how you play the tank. i' have noticed that every time 10 wins left, to get 50% wr on the tank, it pulls me back keeping me below 50% wr, and it feels really really rigged... :( Thanks for the vids Droodles
because it is fucking rigged, im being forced to 1vs7 or 1vs6 most the time (my entire team gets obliterate within 2mins) or faced the enemy tank that is 100% impossible to pen (even the belt takes 3 shots to destroy but does 0 damage to the tank), not even on side or at the back, even the high heat shells cant go through (all i can do is sit there watch him kill me, cause i cant do anything).
In a facehug the 183 actually can pen a E3 frontaly. There is a tiny spot on the front where you just butter though. Even a Chieftain can pen there with HE
Personally I like the progetto over tvp. Tvp is faster, but its armor is a lot more weaker (like a leopard). Progetto has more armor, and you won't have to hide for 17 seconds to reload. Buy both
i mid line legit all the time.. another thing you need to know is always try to go on flat ground.. since the tanks gun depression is just absolute trash....
impossible to play this tank, got huge lose streak with this tank, basically doing 0 damage most matches, move few inche and gets annihilate by bunch of invisible tanks within 20sec at begining of the game.
idk bro gun rammer has made my average damage per game go from 1,800 to around 3k so i really think its worth it you always feel like you have to long of a reload till you get it
RARELY see these on the back line in EU, i always run into them near the front 😂 then they fail to pen, panic and die. THANKFULLY yet to come against anyone who was good in this tank... Again though i say THANKFULLY, this things HESH makes my ass pucker lol
Over and over I've heard Droodles call players toxic because they always drive the 183, or they always drive some meta or OP tank. I'm sick of him passing judgement on how people try to have fun playing this game. If he doesn't like certain tanks or that people can spam a single tank because they enjoy it, that's the games fault, not the player's fault.
Informative. One day if my skill improves sufficiently I will Grind this damage beast. Droodles, could you please address companies like Team Raptor and some clans exploiting Wargaming's matchmaker in order to grind tanks/pad stats? I believe this is the main reason behind battles (you have identified this many times in various videos) where 2-3 team mates do zero damage/travel no distance. This is ruining the enjoyment of the game for everyone.
Still fv183 heavily relaying on team if team fucks up there is no way fv183 can survive also fv183 only able to hold a line as long as it's got a shell but after fv183 fired its totally helpless that's why fv183 need hard cover to hide also if you have a shit Rng will that's the end of fv183
Why not show us how the RNG messed up your game .. To make it transparent. Too many players complaining about exagerated rng makes the player loses interest on playing good game. Its not about the new players fo my opinion its about anoying rng and randomness. If you full aim and its miss with high reload gun . Does that makes sense. It should be hit not miss cuz thats what supposed to be. But since it random game . Thats not the case. Tank stats doesnt matter anymore gameplay doesnt exist. Its all about random hit and miss. Random win and lose. So i decided its time to quit. Ive spending too much time in this game.

I think the 183 played right can be really influential in a win. Unfortunately, most times it's run by players who yolo for 1 shot or trolls 😂

jageroo has better armor armor i think which allows it to be more agressive than the 183
Jag can play like a Heavy tank when it needed.

for me sniping is pretty boring you stay there and it also has awful dispersion, much rather hide behind cover and poke when noones looking
