My son has the same exact Grom and he loves it. He bought the Yoshimura fender eliminator kit and replaced the stock chain with a gold heavy duty RK chain.
That’s Awesome! The color combination of this Grom really drew me in. I have been hearing a lot of talk of upgrading the chains. Is there any performance or reliability concerns with the stock one?
Yo dude! I like that you kept the stock signals, but what about the stock license plate light? The vagabond motorsports kit seems to be the only fender eliminator I've found that retains the OEM plate lighting. Thoughts?
I actually ended up changing the rear signals to the Yoshimura micros but I may end up switching back to stock due to daytime visibility concerns. Any mods that don’t require major changes to the stock components is a plus! I say go for it so you can get the best of eliminating the fender but have the ability to switch back to stock at anytime. Thanks for the support 👊🏾
Thanks Steve, I think the only thing that is a problem is if you ride in the rain or through some water you flick water on the back quite a bit. Other than that it’s great👍🏾
@@mintmotos3650 thanks Mint, probably not a mod for me, I'm in Oregon and would have to ride on wet roads a lot. Have you rode it on sand yet? I plan to ride mine on the beach once in a while.
@@brookingsbeachcomber I respect that, I haven’t done a beach ride or sand yet but if I do I would probably put some knobbies on it. I would hate to drop it so soon 😅
@@mintmotos3650 I even thought maybe a paddle wheel on the back but then it would only be fun in the sand. In your shorts videos I saw one with knobbies, It looks sweet. my beach riding will be smooth and flat sand no crazy dune jumping or anything wild. Thanks for your cool videos and great advice.
Thanks Bro! 👊🏾I have never felt this way about a bike ever. The way you feel when riding it is different than any bike I’ve had. It makes me want to ride all the time.
Alex, I DID sell my 2020 GSXR 600 for a 23' Honda Grom and I don't regret it bro. I have more fun on this bike than I did the Gixxer. You can't use all that power of the Gixxer without going to prison. The Grom you can hit corners at full wrist and it's so nimble. I love it man , hardest part is actually FINDING a Grom.
I think I have always been interested in bikes like the Grom, but I never really loved them until the 3rd Gen. When I would ride around and see guys on Groms or Z125 they just looked like they were having a blast and I can now confirm that they were 😎. Also i agree 100% on how difficult it is finding one.
Started with a sound mod, then mirrors on my 2024 Grom SP now just waiting for the yoshi fender kit to come in
Welcome to the Grom World! If you ever make a video showing it off come back and let me know!

I’m planning on grabbing another crg mirror actually! Thanks watching!
