I don't know his intentions, but after Junk Speeder, I purposely only used effects that were too bad for my opponent to use Phantom of Yubel's effect. The Accel Synchro Stardust effect is an effect worth interrupting with PY, but the Accel Synchro Stardust effect summoned Jet Synchron, and even if it is negated with PY, Jet Synchron can be revived again by costing 1 card from the graveyard. You can summon the complete OG Stardust by chaining it with Accel Synchro stardust to the effect of PY, so maybe the timing of PY's activation was ambiguous?

The OG Stardust summon effect from ACCELSYNCHRO STARDUST was intentionally not used until the end.
