- A behind the scenes look at one of the country's premiere bike restoration businesses. Groody Brothers Bicycle Restoration based in Topeka, Kansas has been restoring bicycles for more than 15 years and offers a one stop shop for restoring bikes of any kind. Mark Rainey is a master mechanic that takes pride in restoring bikes and also specializes in powder coating. He legit restored one of the original Pee Wee Herman Prop bikes from the movie. What a great peek inside to what you do and why you do it! I admit I'm a little biased as that's my Rockhopper in the video. Mark did a great job and I'm sure I'll be making use of his services in the future.

Now that's true love of the greatest invention, the bicycle.....I wish I had my old 20" wheeled bicycle I had as a kid in the 70's to restore. I have no idea what brand it was because it was so rusted up and we found it in the county landfill. My parents sold the house I grew up in, but left frame and other random junk in the barn. I hope to possibly have a custom mountain bike built in the same style of frame once I get my kids through college. I have pictures of myself on the bike, so that will be the inspiration for the build. My Dad had painted it with leftover red paint, painted the wheels white, a banana seat, and balloon tires. So, maybe a modern plus hardtail version in the same style would be fitting

Hello. From saint louis, you guys did a bike for me some years a go a old schwinn, had to been 10-15 years ago. Was a great bike, I would like to do another bike but ai recently read that Groody bros, downsizing and doing bikes here and there, retiring from it.
