These ASHP seem ok for the money lowest temperature seems to be 15’deg from the manual. I cant seem to find any info wether it has a defrost mode though which will be needed i guess in winter?!
I look forward to a update video in the middle of winter.. ive been looking at ASHP over my current titanium probe heater.

Depends on the temperature outside but even if it’s running 24h a days that it has never done yet it is useing 11p a hour to run
But the small ones have sold out

Ive just brought the 9.5kw air source aqua forte full inverter wife works a treat to the wifi set up is a must and even tho it says you cant put a plug on it the maximum draw is 7 amps so a plug is perfect aswell , i use a 12 thousand vari turned down to 3 which is about 4k litres if you get my number of jack reefer il show you the readings and the wife options can also tell you how much im using
Tbh I didn’t look into the plug options how is it ment to be plugged in ?
@@JamesTHEKOIwhisperer123 it says hard wire put the remora air source 9kw and 12 kw come with a plug so i got my sparky to fit a 2.5 cable and a 13amp plug and its been on a week now ponds aitting at 20⁰ only issue i have is those little red pumps in the pond clog up quite badly with crap so ive got to re work it into my pipe work some how
I fitted cable and plug he just gave me the stuff lol

Personally James., I would keep that inline heater where it is, just as a back up.
I've not had much success with air source heat pumpsover winters😢 tbh...BUT if you use it to prolong the season as much as you can with it then Bonus. 👍
I really do hope you have more success with them than the 2 we had.
