Baldwin s face when that guy pulls the tape out of his pants is priceless. Also Gregs experience shows he knows better to be the first person to grab something from a stranger
I loved NYPD Blue from day one, the stand alone episodes and the major story arcs were always incredible. This episode began on such a whimsical note, it didn't foreshadow the darkness and the spectrum of emotions to come. Andy's character development and growth from a drunk spiraling into the abyss to a father figure and mentor, virtually the glue that kept everyone and everything together is a life lesson of second chances and redemption.
The early days had great characters that were unique, looked and talked like NY Cops. By the time the show ended, the precinct looked like Andy plus a bunch of Ford models.
That Julian was fantastic, he appeared in several episodes. His breaking down and crying at the end over losing the woman he loved, despite being a stripper, was so real and touching... Well it made me 😭 too... And for me was the best scene in an otherwise fantastic episode.
The Best thing about NYPD Blue is the number of great cop actors they used that starred in the Best and grittiest Cop Show Ever....Hill Street Blues! I was in the Atl Police Academy when Hill Street Blues was on....Never missed an episode!
Detective Andy Sipowicz is the greatest character ever created for television.
"Dropped him off at Hooters. He insisted". 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
That Julian character was great. Endlessly entertaining.
One episode with the highest of highs, and lowest of lows. Greatest Cop Show Ever!
One of the BEST COP SHOWS IN HISTORY!!!!!!!!!!
Without doubt one of the greatest episodes of NYPD.
Even when Julian started crying, I started to well up too..... Damn it, this series was good.

Usually, the parental guidance warning at the beginning meant it was Dennis Franz's ass we'd be seeing. All hail this episode.
Thanks to whoever released this episode. NYPD definitely a strong production.
There will NEVER another show to take the place OF
I really liked NYPD Blue, it was an awesome show.
