- ตอนนี้ MRT ได้เปิดให้ทดลองจ่ายค่าโดยสารผ่าน NFC ได้แล้ว เราก็เลยไปลองโดยจ่ายด้วยบัตร Apple Card ผ่าน ApplePay บน iPhone และ Apple Watch กันครับว่ามันใช้งานง่ายหรือยากแค่ไหน

Hey I am from US and got pretty much all the cards that you have. My question to you is do majority of Thai merchants accept contactless payment? and if they do and what is the percentage of them take apple pay of course I am talking about apple pay with US credit cards linked to it because Thailand banks do not have agreement with apple yet. Thanks.
It’s more of a hit or miss. You’ll see a lot of places with the contactless symbols but a lot of them don’t accept Apple Pay. My wild guess would be maybe around 60% of the places that accept contactless payment accept Apple Pay. Definitely a long way to go but I think it’s headed in the right direction.

อันนี้ต้องมีบัตรที่รองรับนะครับซึ่งยังไม่ได้เข้าที่ประเทศไทยอย่างเป็นทางการ เลยทำให้ยังไม่มีบัตรในไทยที่รองรับครับ แต่ถ้ามีบัตรที่รองรับก็กด + แล้วเลือก Debit or Credit Card หรือ Transit Card แล้วใส่รายละเอียดได้เลยครับ

ลง ios15.4 beta ได้นะครับ สแกนหน้าพร้อมหน้ากากกับ apple pay ได้ ไม่ต้องมานั่งกด passcode

น่าจะสะดวกขึ้นเยอะเลยครับเพราะตอนนี้ยังไม่รองรับ Express Transit
แต่ตอนนี้เห็นมีเพื่อนๆบอกว่าตอนนี้เค้า block บัตรต่างประเทศออกไปก่อน แต่ถ้าลองแล้วจะบอกนะครับ

transaction ยังไม่ post เลยครับ 🤣 แต่คิดว่าน่าจะได้ 2% เหมือน ApplePay ทั่วไปครับ

You *should* be able to tap the physical card on the terminal. As of now, unfortunately, Apple Pay is no longer supported by MRT.

I can't tell if it was covered in the comments below or not, but you seem to be touching your phone or watch to the reader before double-tapping. You always have to double-tap the button on your phone/watch FIRST to activate ApplePay. THEN only touch the reader one time. That will save you a lot of time.
Hi, thanks for the comment. I agree, typically, for Apple Pay, it's faster to activate/authenticate Apple Pay before tapping on the terminal. However, in Express Transit mode, it does not require authentication, just tap and go, and that's what I wanted to test out here, it failed haha.

ผมลอง Wise card มั่ง บน iPhone ที่ MRT. แตะไม่ผ่านเลยครับ ยังมีใครใช้อยู่มั่ง
ผมลองแตะผ่านโทรศัพท์iPhone 14 pm แล้วมันบอกไม่ได้ ครับ ณ ปัจจุบันนี้
เห็นหลังๆเหมือน MRT จะปิดระบบไม่รองรับ Wallet ครับรู็สึกต้องใช้บัตรจริงอย่างเดียว

ตอนนี้ยังได้เฉพาะใน US ครับ สมัครผ่านแอป Wallet บน iPhone ได้เลย

Ich teste zu Zeit das Gpay NFC aber auch ApplePay sehr Intinsiv aus.
Am besten geht es bei BIG C 99% ohne Probleme
KFC geht Gpay NFC aber auch ApplePay gar Nicht nur Creditcard liegt wohl an den Zahlterminels von der Bangkok Bank .
Amazon Caffee geht jetzt Super das schlimme ist wenn man das Smartphone Zeigt dann wird ein QR Code am Zahlterminel Angezeigt stat NFC Logo
Lotus nur Karte usw.
Das lezte mal war 2019 und da ging noch gar nichts mit NFC bzw. Gpay NFC aber auch ApplePay da her Grosses Lob an den Thailändischen Handel.
Und dann kam die Krankheit mit C
Auch ein grosses Lob an Deine Videos und das Sie sich mit dem Thema Gpay NFC aber auch ApplePay beschäftigen.
