    I remember adding canned cherries - one each in the middle of each pineapple slice to add color..been a long time since i baked this..thanks for reminding and bringing back lovely memories 😊😊

    This cake came out perfectly. I replaced maida with whole wheat flour and castor sugar in the cake with jaggery though. Thanks for the awesome receipe!!

      @@tanvayee4545 Yes I baked it at the same temperature and time. Even otherwise 180 degree is the standard temperature for cakes

    How much I love love watching you do new recipes and gives us a chance to try them all🧡 I just had one concern which is whenever I bake in a microwave oven the top of the cake gets a little burnt due to overheat..any ways to avoid that because I usually bake for 30mins at 180 degree..

    1. Can I substitute oil with melted butter.
    2. Can a baking mat be used to line the bottom of the pan.
    3. Can I substitute APF with cake flour.

    Grt recipe Shivesh and would be grt if u can also mention the weight of ingredients as at times it's easier weighing stuff then finding the specifi spoons and cups to measure. I felt the need for this yesterday when I tried your brownie recipe yesterday.

    Hi shivesh! Can you please suggest the most preferable setting for baking a cake? Should I bake it with the bottom coils on, or with the convection mode (top and bottom coil along with the fan)? I have tried the bake mode and it turns out great, but doesn't brown from the top. Whereas in convection mode, it is a little moister than expected.
    This comes from a home chef, learning the art of modern-age baking, making mistakes and growing with the help of experts such as yourself and my idol Pooja Dhingra! 😄💕

    I just bake this cake without egg i found it really hard with the egg substitude thing and after i put my cake in the oven i was scrolling down here and i found this recipe. i really like it u add baking soda with yogurt next time i will use this recipe i wanted 3 eggs substitude so i add 1/2 cup yogurt and 1/4 cup buttermilk with liquid ingredients and baking soda with dry ingredients and its work out as well..

    I baked this cake today..first it was super yum but i want to ask two things :
    1. The cake was super moist..i couldn't pick it up once i transferred it on a plate.
    2. The caramel came out like a liquid from sides.
    What could be the possible reasons. Please reply.

    I’m also gluten intolerant so was considering making this recipe replacing out the flour with bobs red mill 1-1 gluten free baking flour. Are the results likely to be very different? I know gluten free baking can be very tricky

    Hi ! Can we put a little pineapple essence (equal to vanilla essence mentioned) to the batter for a enhanced pineapple flavour in the cake? Also if I'm putting the pineapple essence should i be skipping the vanilla essence or add both? Please also specify the pineapple essence quantity in this case
