I was a UPS driver helper like 3 years in a row in winter (it's a fun job, try it!). Those drivers work hard. Total reset everyday! Tough job. They earn every penny!
@@LittleVillageHomestead It's a gateway if you want to be a UPS driver! I had a lady gripe for running through her pristine snow in her yard. You are frantic in holiday season.
Hi Rene this is Sue, l am gonna have to try your pumpkin bread it looked so yummy and hubby loves taking a piece of pineapple zuchinni bread to work, and this would give him a change and he loves pumpkin,, As well as the eggnog, l have always wanted to try it, but was always intimated by the process. Thanks for making it look so easy. Have a Blessed Day.
It is -3° here at 9pm and that I really cold for southern Illinois. We ha one of our three Shih Tzu’s who loves to play in the snow and she looked at me and did her business and ran back in, so I know it’s cold. Hi Rene, this is Sue, well, let me tell you,, we had bad snow storm here in Southern Ontario, so what else do you do on a snowy day, you bake, lol. started off with making some bread cause we were out, and then l thought ok, l have all the ingredients for the Chocolate Chip Pumpkin Bread, and l made it, did it 1.5 didn't have enough pumpkin for a double batch, so l got 4 nice loaves out of it and gave one to my neighbour beside up and the elderly couple across the street with a loaf of bread (he loves it), And of coarse what is baking if you don't mess one up of something, Well l dropped one and it broke all up, l said well that one is ours, and before l new it l put half the loaf in a container cause it was all broken up, and before l knew it, l went to get alittle taste aka piece, and l looked over at hubby and it was all gone,, he just said, well it was good,, and apolized about not leaving any for the cook, lol.. so saying all that, l think l am going to have to make more, lol... Thanks for the lovely recipe, and You and Your Family have a Wonderful Merry Christmas,, GOD Bless You.
Did Mr Wayna love the eggnog? Are you slicing the bread to give wrapped slices in baskets? The granola is going to be added to my future gifts along with my candid pecans. Loved the video. Love them all

GM Friend :) Can I ask, why can't we use the quick oats? I am having a horrible time finding the rolled oats :( I did find some, but they literally only had two packages left, so I bought both lol I was just curious?? What would it do? Or not do? Also, how could I get it chunkier?
You could use them, however, the quick oats are pre cooked and will not have the same texture also you will have to reduce the cook time significantly. They really aren't recommended for granola.
@@LittleVillageHomestead TY so much for answering my question dearheart. I won't use them LOL Is there a way I can make them chunkier pieces? Maybe more egg whites or honey?
I've been enjoying binging your videos since I discovered them a week or so ago. You already feel like an old friend chatting with me.
