Jackson was easily man city’s best defender this game what a performance from this lad but seriously even a toddler could finish those chances Jackson had
Jackson cleaned up everything in the box, didn’t give Chelsea a single chance. Top defending.
Absolutely! Jackson was horrible this match. But that Grealish handball really bites, man!
@@vjenks7243Does it? This is the weirdest line of thinking from people. So basically you want a cheap goal you didn’t earn because that “handball” was on a shot from 40 yards that was going miles wide. Pathetic. Just accept you lost and move on.
nah michael oliver was citys best player
Jackson, The Maguire of strikers..
Burleys argument is foolish about the handball being minimal contact since 1. His hand wasn't static and moved his hand towards the ball. 2 .the ref didn't even see it. A corner wasn't given. It was a clear error that wasn't refereed on the pitch.
That man has an agenda against Chelsea and his argument is fucken foolish
These pundits have no courage and guts to call what’s right is right and wrong is wrong. Also Michael Oliver and city links need to be investigated. He is been doing this nonsense and getting away against with the teams like arsenal, Liverpool (Doku incident) and united as well and so on…
Burley is always biased against Chelsea
The guy is a joke
Either he saw the handball but deemed it accidental, still corner. Or he missed it & VAR has to to direct him to the screen, where he can say penalty or corner. What they did was the only scenario that didn’t make sense
accidental or not, it's still a penalty
What do you expect from David Coote? He is a crooked blind guy
Craig, Chelsea have played City 3 times and they have nowhere dominated Chelsea.
But can we give it up for Michael Oliver, what a player he was for City today
Yea you are right, Caceido could have seen 10 yellows today
@@GermanChickenwingInteresting take since he had 4 fouls. Grealish could have seen straight red for intentional handball.
Haha german thats you told
If not a penalty at least a corner 😂😂😂😊
@@BDAShadow1lol intentional handball and red card!? You’re trippin bro
250 million active football players in 200 countries of the world. If Nicholas Jackson is the person that's picked as your striker, everyone from the owners to the coach should get a psychological evaluation
Cool do2n he helped u secure results against the 2 legs vs city
So why man city coach doesn't want to start Doku??? this is something you cannot understand....
Graig burley has something against Chelsea because that's a definite penalty
The ref even gave a Goal kick after the review 😂….that was even more shocking to me
Nobody even mentioned Walker's follow through on Gallagher. It could have easily been red but not even a review.
Michael Oliver always helps City out, it's been happening for a while now.
That was not even a foul.
Jackson and Noni are too selfish. Each want to score a spectacular goal instead of releasing the ball early to a team mate in the best position.
Doku changed the game
Doku + Gusto subbed off. Disasi was getting cooked
Doku was decent but Jackson was easily Citys best player
Doku cause terror in that Chelsea backline next season he will be better
...again.
And they say he ain't better than grealish
Ortega was my man of the match.
Bollocks. It was Michael Oliver.
Nevermind the bullocks, mate!
Where are the City fans who were crying yesterday about how the team with more xG deserves to go through?
They’re thinking about a way to make their delusional statements make sense
the difference is, city dominated the game today. 1 position with 0.50 xG doesnt mean chelsea deserved the game
@@haruntuna5728 so thats the logic bubble city fans have for today 😂
Imagine having a lower xg than THIS chelsea 😂
You got ur reply already. Still take this addition: U really expected Man City to do well after 120 sth mins just with 76 hrs, compare Chelsea who's has enough time to rest n prepare for this match???
Ask urself: how did Pep n his players even prep for a match like this after last Thursday night!
Never heard anyone say that. What’s your point?
Another clean sheet for Ortega, and Doku ,wow.
Clean cheat you mean
Jackson Gabriel Jesus Brothers Of Destruction 😂😂😂
Facts😂😂😂
😂😂😂😂😂
And Nunez 😂😂
Craig saying he understands why the penalty wasn't given is plain stupid, it is a penalty every single day 😂
Dokuuuu❤❤❤ really changed the game
Nicholas Jackson missed too many chances
He's not clinical
City too fool. 😂 If chelsea scored 2, city would have scored 4. They were in no hurry otherwise.
@@nishant54Shut up your mouth, how many shot did city had on target? Even first half they didn't have a shot on target
@@davidwhytekeys8428 😄 🤣 don't cry from truth. City were also unlucky to score you delusional.
Would like to say Shocking finishing from Jackson today...but nobody who has seen him this season will be shocked... same mostly goes for Sterling with his misses & selfishness
Jackson always gives his all (unlike Sterling, who doesn’t care much at all ) it’s just that he’s not at the level required. He needs to develop his game, I’m not gonna pour scorn on him, because that is just mean spirited. Next season will be huge for his future, he this remainder and the summer to work on himself
At this point it looks like the coach values Jackson’s movement. I watched him in the pre season and the confidence he showed then is not there now.
Jackson missed chances which I’m not surprised about. I was surprised at Malo Gusto messing up a few key passes which is actually something he hasn’t done . Usually much better, the lineup definitely was not the issue and it was individual error
Craig is an absolute clown how is that not a penalty. 😂😂😂😂
This is chelsea third game against man city and it was all the same chelsea with lost of chances and can't take it smh
Another cup where Chelsea’s youth/experience and injuries got the best of them. But if you are a fan you got to see the potential
If Nunez is a horrible striker, what is Jackson?
All defenders feel a sense of security should they see Jackson through on goal, they know they are safe!😂😂😂😂
Terrible
You’re the best, PBD
Another Michael Oliver disasterclass. Stonewall penalty not given due to the amount of future Arabian envelopes that may no longer come his way.
I completely agree. Oliver is always helping City out, disgraceful corrupt ref he is.
Cuty masterclass and shitsea flopped
Kierannnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn! Come on Citeh!
When did the rules change where you can block the ball with your arm/hand in the box?
Can someone explain to me why Pep picks Grealish over Doku to start these games? How many times have we seen him substituted in the 70th minute????
Thing is doku is a super sub🔥better off from bench especially in big games you get that mate😊
Grealish is a better starter compared to doku
Strange Game.
City had more of the ball and yet Chelsea created more chances, which is unusual when playing City, although they did turn the screw with 30 minutes to go.
Every time I watch Chelsea play and the chances missed and wasted, I cannot help thinking: “If only they had a World Class Striker worthy of the name”, this could, would have and no doubt should have been, a different story for Chelsea this Season”.
I also think Chelsea should have had a penalty.
If the arm had been going out instead of in, that would have been given, so what is the difference it being the other way round.
Not only that, if not handball then why can’t VAR say: “No penalty, but it is a corner”….they interfere in everything else!!!
I would also love to know how the challenge by Walker “inside” the box is not a foul, but the exact same challenge “outside” the box is.
I usually blame Pochettino in some way or another, but today I am looking in only one direction….Jackson.
Pochettino set Chelsea up perfectly, but not much you can do when your Striker misses chance after chance, like he usually does.
I used to get upset when Chelsea lost important games, sadly in this day and age I am getting far too used to it.
Oh well, that I that for another Season, as far as Chelsea are concerned.
Until Chelsea gets that World Class Striker, Chelsea will not stand much chance of winning another trophy.
And a clean sheet!!
How J. Alvarez performed? Couldnt see the game.
Trash as always lately!
Everytime Chelsea outplay City this season, these idiots on ESPN say "City looked awful" instead of praising how well Chelsea have played. That's 3 games this season.

‘No one cares about Arsenal’ the most accurate thing Dan has ever said.
Right now City supporters giving thanks to Providence for Chelsea having signed Nicholas Jackson.
Chelsea's Jackson really saved Man city😂😂
Jackson is an absolute disgrace of a forward. But VAR stole the show that was a stonewall handball, absolutely ridiculous.
Man city all year have had this. Its kept them in the title race
No penalty kick for palmer today
Not a handball. He’s trying to move his arm back down to his body. Clearly accidental

Season summary:
- Pochetino: stubborn strategies and player’s positions. Can help develop young talents, but he’s not Chelsea’s material
-Jackson: ok left winger but there are better out there, can hold the ball, but horrible first touch. Not a striker, not a goal scorer. Immature mentality. Not Chelsea’s standards, needs to be sold
-Sterling: 1 G/A out of every 7 chances. Needs to go, disturbs the potential in others
- Enzo: slow! Big disappointment, has high energy but he’s overhyped, his defense is ok but not world class, his vision is ok but not world class either. Not a goal scoring midfielder. Not Chelsea’s standard. I would sell
- Gallagher: one of the best players, relentless, ultra high energy, great DM, leads with example, but he is not an attacking midfielder. Needs to stay in DM, renew contract. I die on this hill
- Mudryk: very talented left winger but extremely poor decision making and can’t score either. That right there is a standoff, what to do with that?? Can decision making be improved?? Not Chelsea’s standards imo, I would loan him and bring Maatsen instead
- Gusto: he is Chelsea’s standard. Keep him and continue his devlp
- Desasi: dominates aerial duels, can develop alongside a world class defender. Keep and monitor
- Palmer: little to say here, world class, build the team around him
- Caicedo: I can only see him flourishing with Gallagher alongside him in a DM position. Needs to have internal competition to continue his growth. Keep and monitor
- Petrovic: I can see him evolving, but would need internal competition, not Sanchez
- Rest of players: not really WC standards really (Madueke, Chillwell, Badiashille, Cucurella, etc). None of this lot really stand out except for Thiago Silva who’s on his way out
- Required reinforcements: all these need to be world class level for Chelsea to progress, a striker, a right winger and one defender. The team needs some experience and a leader figure. The old winning mentality is clearly missing.
Forget the rest, City are the best…..
The best cheats. The FFP centurians with over 100 violations.

@@olivermarcus3349 The ref doesn't care, he got another nice payment from Abu Dhabi today.
Man city on a bad day beating a Chelsea team which had a great match. Levels
It's easy when you have the ref on your side.
@@FreshAlchemy Indeed.
Doku is City’s most impressive player this season. Had he started against Madrid, City would have started “fast” and might have beaten Madrid.
City was closed to losing everything. After being on the verge of winning everything. Football is strange.
DOES MICHAEL OLIVER HAVE A SIDE HUSSLE IN ABU DHABI? When did the rules change where you can block the ball with your arm/hand in the box? And you can be the last defender and take out illegally an opposition player and not get sent off or a yellow at least?
If we're going off the logic the football world used for Madrid in midweek then City did NOT deserve to go through. Chelsea ran them ragged the entire game and had the way better chances.... AND deserved a penalty.
That Chelsea ragged the entire game with 35% possession???. What are you talking about???. You probably watched a different game like Ten Hag
City can be loosing 10-0 and still city fans say that they were better because of 65% posession
Jackson is a winger not a striker. Villareal never depended on him as a striker
Jackson was training for semifinal today. He was not part of composition
Doku over grealish any day , grealish is always passing back to the left to the left giving rihanna vibes
Not a Chelsea fan but they were robbed of a penalty absolute joke
As a Chelsea fan it was not a penalty...
@@couturecriminal8330 interesting, I 100% expected VAR to call for a review as it looked like a 100% penalty
if not a penalty..why was it not a corner..or did oliver not give a corner because he knew it hit grealish on the hand....no pen and no corner is worrying..was one or the other....olivers corruption comes to the surface again..like the kick in the chest of mcallister in the box against city in the last minute....he is paid by his middle eastern masters....
If the VAR had called for a review, penalty could have been the only option because Grilesh moved his hand towards the ball.
@@adamsmega1 I love that they waited to check. It’s either a pen or a corner. But somehow stays a goalkick.
Jackson had a good game but his finishing cost us
It helps when pep’s team sheet includes the referee
Dan is just being an asshole about Chelsea its getting ridiculous at this point. His glee in just hating on a team while they are down is disgusting, childish and more importantly unprofessional. What they are going to do until the end of the season? Finish ahead of your equally hapless man united team and get European football.

Nicuseless Jackson. Stop making excuses for that waste of space. He's not premier league material. He should be relegated to the under 12
How is that not a pen he jumps with his arm up he then realises ball is going past him so moves his arm to stop ball
Gibbs is so bad, awful. I can't believe how terrible he is.
Burley thinks it's okay to handle the ball in the box.
Dan is just a troll.
Nedum the only one with a brain among them today.

If City wins the league and cup and Spain wins the Euros then Rodri is taking it home finally
Never a penalty.
only palmer looks like scoring
Craig can afford to sound stupid just to undermine Chelsea for his handball explanation
Dan always tries to be insulting Chelsea as if his gf left him for Chelsea in the past 😂
I understand lack of confidence, form etc etc. but how many chances do you need to prove yourself? They're paid to play football, if it was passive job then fine but that is their main job and 1/2 seasons is enough chances. Mudryk needs to leave ASAP and Jackson is a benchwarmer at best.
Well chelsea did beat em in the ucl final
Coventry 1 United 2
City 2 United 2 aet.
Penalty shootout.
115.
Okay if you listen to Craig Burnley explained why he is okay with not calling the handball a penalty this explains to you not only how bias it is but how f****** ridiculous ESPN FC is when it comes to Chelsea FC his whole argument is that it glances the hand it's either a f****** handball or it's not a handball it's not a soft handball it is black or white it's either a handball call or not a handball call the fact that he is not going to admit that Manchester City got away with the call is absolute b******* and it should just invalidate anything he says about Chelsea
Ah plz just take this Gibbs out, the show is perfect, his seriousness (that he never had when he was a player) is really annoying
I agree, he's absolutely awful, looks like he can't be bothered to even be there. He has the personality and charisma of a plastic bag. He's painful to watch and listen to. Definitely needs to be dropped.
Jackson is absolutely atrocious 😂😂
City where so tired 😮😮😮😮 i hope they dont bottle the league
He's trying to handle the ball, not just tuck it in. Just look at it ffs.
That is handball. It was a penalty. It was a goal kick... hahaha ya, not sus at all.
Chelsea are the best bottlers in these cups ,arsenal in semi finals deffo wins everything against any opponent in FA cups
Nothing about chelsea playing well but not taking the chances. Just city played badly. Which I didn’t even think is true.
Perfect since no handball call- and even if it wasn’t they get a goal kick….lol. And folks wonder about officials. Stevie wonder saw that. Lol. Bit make sure city gets through. 115 reasons why.
Can we cut the b******* Liverpool in the League Cup played poorly this was Chelsea out playing Manchester City not Manchester City playing poorly I swear ESPN FC will find every and any way to discredit Chelsea I know several neutral fans that tuned in to watch us get demolished by City And this was way more evenly matched than a lot of people thought it should have been I am more proud of my side in this loss then some of the drawers that we have had previously
Was his hand in a natural position? NO! Then penalty! That is the fundamental rule. What then is the needless technicalities about a clear handball? These rules are clearly subjective and not objective. Period.
Based on the penalty, Chelsea was clearly robbed.
Look at his opposite arm in the same position into De Bruyne. He’s jumping. Try it. (And my name is about urbanism. Pretty neutral on this one.) could have gone either way.
He’s trying to push his teammate into the right position and then put his arm back to his sides. Never a pen. It’s clearly unintentional
@@jeffspruance9388 Intentions clearly have nothing to do with this one as his arm was AWAY from his body thus it should be called quite simply!
@@oswaldumeh why? He’s clearly attempting to avoid the ball. It’s not intentional
Barely changes direction has never been a criteria.
I don't know what Craig's smoking sometimes. You're right, the trajectory of the ball after striking a hand or arm has nothing to do with the handball rule. Besides that, the ball does actually change direction significantly anyway, the contact completely changes the direction of the ball. Craig talks more rubbish than sense these days.
@@FreshAlchemy especially that arsenal hand ball
Chelsea as a whole team is USELESS
Chelsea players AND coaches are already booking their vacations
Craig I'd NEVER objective smh it's a 50/50??? What??? C'mon man smdh
The English teams are playing far too many games. They can't win in Eruope if they are playing 9 games in 30 days and their opponents are playing 5.
Jackson is the wasted a lot 😂😂😂😂 Chelsea should sell him
We wasted a forward position by playing Conor
Mudryk is a scam 🤦🏾 That was a bosh deal - Literally has nothing to offer. Madueke is Nicholas Pepe Pro Max - just too much flare with no end product. Jackson outchea acting like another version of Morata. Forget the coach, THESE PLAYERS ARE ABSOLUTE GARBAGE🚮😤
I've heard enough about "this is a young team" scapegoat. All the forwards that play for my nephews U19 slot those chances Jackson whiffed on in the back of the net. AFter Jackson and Madueke's penalty freak out last week, they drop these performances to prove what absolute garbage players they are. What's even worse is they aren't even likeable. They didn't even celebrate Palmer's penalty goal last week. They're not team players and they're barely professional players.
City was begging to lose. And Poch wasn't much better. Caicedo has the touch of a rhino and Enzo runs like he's under water. 200+ million for those 2. Chilwell sadly, his legs are done. This squad is simply lacking quality all over the pitch. Some good pieces but most of them are bang average at best.
That Grealish handball blocked a shot on goal and was a penalty for me all day however, I don't even care because Chelsea had all of those chances and squandered them so serves them right. Good for City, go get another cup.
Craig burley is so dumb the hand ball is similar to the Liverpool pen against atalanta and I bet be thinks the Liverpool one is a pen
He didn't, he said he thought the Liverpool one wasn't a penalty either, I remember him saying it. He's wrong though, both were pens, especially the one today which I think is slightly more blatant. Craig's brain is clouded with ignorance lately, he talks so much rubbish. I used to think he was quite a good pundit once.
Barely changes direction?? 50-50??? How much money is he getting from city?? Frauds.
A serious disappointments for a whole season....there's no fundation and proper structure to this chelsea team, the whole structure is a long way from a serious competitive team....whatever the management is doing is not working.
Its the details that matter...er..sort of like taking your chances...Jackson didnt..x3 he's is just a waste of space
That blatant handball is being glossed over and we all can seeit , AAAALLLLLLLL can see it .WTH is wrong with English football?? Your ref decisions are chasing fans away .Anyway I have said this too many times now.Goodbye EPL
