Almost everyone I have seen react to that clip all say the same thing.
It was in fact his wife.
I suspect the clip wouldn't have gone viral if it hadn't happened in 2017. By 2020 everyone was WFH and had the same problems, but in 2017 it was still rare enough that people assumed only people with babysitters would be doing it.

Yes the 3rd one is about a 3 young ladies that were kidnapped, sexually assaulted, and physically abused for over 10+ years. One of the young women,Amanda, who gave birth to a child fathered by the perpetrator was able to escape and run to the neighbors for help.

The surfer guy 🏄♂️ at 5:48 he said he was talking like that on purpose, he was just joking, he doesn't really talk like that. About 17 years later the same news station who interviewed him posted a video of them doing another interview with him and he said he was just joking, that video is here on TH-cam. The first interview of him talking about the waves was in 2002.
The “wouldn’t you like to know weatherboy” was fake as well. That was his son.

The 'apparently' little boy is a legend here in Northeast Pennsylvania. I believe he was 5 years old then. He's in high school now.
That's the guy. The girl who got out was Amanda Berry. There were two other girls, Michelle Knight, and Gina DeJesus
I grew up near Cleveland. I remember the day those 3 girls were found. I cried so hard. The interview with the neighbor that called the police was hilarious but he was their hero that day!!

The "apparently" kid at the beginning is Noah Ritter and as a result of that viral clip he has appeared as a judge on a couple of t.v. shows and appeared a few times on the Ellen DeGeneres Show. Great video pick Garen and Leah. 👏👍✌️
"Hold up wait a minute" guy got famous for that line, so later one after the fact, when he made other appearances on different shows he repeated the line. He got so famous for it at the time that it became his catchphrase. A lot like the "hide yo kids, hide yo wife" guy.
I always enjoy your family videos. Many years ago there was a TV show with Art Linkletter called "Kids Say the Darndest Things." It was hilarious. The old videos are still available to view.

"apparently" is a very diplomatic word because its not a definitive statement. Since its "how things appear to be" I dont have to take responsibility if im wrong.

Live news? It can be bitter sweet thanks to bad timing. Back in the 1990s, one of the local high school cheerleaders got interviewed one time about something at the school. She was with a girlfriend too. She was also a waitress at the local "Pizza Hut" when I worked there. Little did we know then, that we would hope to have recorded that live interview on VHS as a way to remember her voice, not just what she looked like, as pictures record looks anyway. 😢
The 'weather boy' one, if you pay close attention is actually the son to the weatherman himself; look closely and you can see the strong family resemblance.

5:22 this was something called project p, happened about an hour away from me in macosta county Michigan, I was there for an hour and left when a dude nose dived off a barn and ran off in the woods 😂😂 it was supposed to be like 100 people originally from what I heard and it turned out to be c,one or maybe even over 1500 people
Hey Jono I don't know if its just me but the clip volume on your videos always seems to be low and your over all volume always seems to be low, so when an AD pops up it always blows my ears out.
The kid who said "get a job weatherboy" was actually the reporter's son. It was a little joke. That's why the reporter said "where are your parents?" They even look alike.

The fact that so any of these news interviews have been songified by Schmoyoho (makes very catchy autotuned songs out of video clips) shows just how classic they are!

Regarding the "fireworks / weather boy" clip... Although it did indeed appear on a real live newscast, it was planned by the reporter as a joke. The young boy in the video is the reporter's son. The entire thing was staged. I think it might have been an April Fools prank.
It looked staged to me. The kid’s delivery appeared rehearsed.

A couple of these interviews were parodied into songs that went viral a number of years ago. One of them is Backin' Up, the other is Dead Giveaway by Schmoyoho .They're worth checking out for another good laugh.

2nd guy actually saved girls who was being held kidnapped in this guy's house for years. They made a movie about it I believe.
The redheaded, apparently kid, who’s name is Noah Ritter, did end up on A reality show called the toy box. of course the daytime talk shows had to invite him on as well.
Some of these were skits, some of these were on actual live television but intentionally planned as pranks, and others were just spontaneous live interviews.
This is missing the legendary “Reality hits you hard bro” guy - a funny fellow who was interviewed streetside about an auto accident. I found that on YT one day and was showing it on Facebook, and coincidentally learned that my oldest friend had dated the interviewee’s sister.
I think there was a follow up interview with the "apparently" kid, but I am not sure how you would find it.
I was raised like that too (to be respectful) but down in the South ESPECIALLY, manners is a BIG thing, taught for all ages. When it comes to eating etiquette, too. “Fix your face” is a common sentence and facial expression, if you know what I mean😂. I’m not a Southerner myself, but I know and have grown up around those people.

It's their channel they can pause as much as they want
it is a reaction video - the point of it is is to give a reaction and comment on it - so nah he don't pause too much. it's better than talking over it. If you want to watch it without the pauses - umm go watch the original - or skip through the pauses, just push the right arrow or double tap your screen on the right it jumps forward 5 seconds. But most of us come here to listen to what they have to say. The one thing I would agree with - don't apologize for pausing. That actually is a bit distracting - pause, make the comment, continute watching

American news is ... uh, interesting. Not always the most informative thing news wise [lmao], but sometimes entertaining for no reason. It's a strange place over here 😂
